PS3 had a higher install base of 5 million units since May 2008. Now it's about 8 million.
If you subtract NPD and Media Create numbers from 17 million. You will see 9.2 million remaining. from EU and PAL territories

those EU gamers who dont know. Home beta invites are going out on Monday. apparently there was an e-mail problem so they couldnt get sent out.
