You ever think that people just enjoy the Fable franchise? I completely agree that he's overhyped his games in the past, but that doesn't change the fact that people play the games for their enjoyment.
Why aren't there more people like you on this site. The event was pretty horrendous, but the objective of it was to appeal to the casual market. The fact that gaming bloggers and journalists were there expecting something extremely hardcore was just... yeah.

Yeah, the event wasn't good. But that honestly doesn't mean Kinect wont be entertaining. The only reason I would buy it is for the dashboard features and small immersion with hardcore titles. The Kinect games are basically just an added feature for me.
The whole thing was a creep-show that was aimed at casual audiences. The main thing that people are complaining about are the weird ass events that took place.

Huh? That is the new Xbox 360 design and yes, you can sit it on it's side. It's not curved or anything to prevent you from doing so.
Kinect is "Project Natal", which is 4 controllers.

Kinect can have up to 4 people playing at once. The people = the controllers.
Well, actually reading the article, the game apparently responds incredibly well. I'm still not going to get it, though. Also, the name Kenictimals is a little intimidating. It makes the animals sound like horrible creations of science.

I agree with the second part of your comment. I don't really mind the name, as it's a fusion between Kinetic (movement) and connect (joining). But I am going to prefer my original controllers over these. Only reason why I'd buy Kinect would be for simple features within games, such as interaction between characters and leaning over cover and such.
