Sony has dropped the Playstation 3's price by what?... $200-250? The 360's Elite SKU has been dropped by $80; Pro by $100; and Arcade by $100.
When you look at it. Sony has had to drop their price SO much more than Microsoft. In fact, if they hadn't. I guarantee you the console would not be around right now.

Pretty sure Mass Effect 2 was announced as a 360/PC exclusive people. Not to mention it would be horribly retarded to release only the second iteration of a trilogy franchise to another platform.

I already have FFXI on my PS3. I popped in the PS2 discs, downloaded the PS2 - PS3 HDD update.. and I now play it on my PS3.

Does the protective coating on a blu-ray cost a lot? If not, then it wouldn't be any different. It's not like the disc is going to literally be 3 times as physically large as a blu-ray disc.
Blu-Ray was expensive at first... it went down. They're not making these just for the hell of it. I guarantee you that they will start showing up soon.
