It does not take 6 months to make a car in Gran Turismo 5. Period. I want you to do the math on that one.
6 months x 800 cars = 4,800 months of development.
4,800 months / 12 months (for each year) = 400 years.
Now, maybe if this was referring to ALL of the cars taking 6 months to model, then yes, it would make more sense. But seriously?... I want you to go slap yourself for that.

Yup. Most likely it is the new Valhalla motherboard that they've been working on for so long. It's a 65nm chip that combines the CPU and GPU into 1 super-chip. It takes up a LOT less room, lowers manufacturing costs, lowers heating within the console, and could inevitably mean a Xbox 360 slim model.
