Microsoft's approach is taking it a step further than the season passes required for online games. I was mostly referring to the Xbox One's new restrictions as the article was referring to the next generation consoles.

Kojima has never sufficiently argued his reason for replacing Hayter. Even the articles explanation is not enough for me, since Kojima doesn't see fit to replace the Japanese voice actor. Unfortunately; for me, Hideo has screwed up.

"No One's Complaining About Not Being Able to Trade iOS Games" is a dumb statement. The point is that we had the ability to buy used games with no restrictions since gaming existed. Having it stripped away out of corporate money grabbing is completely different to digital content which we never had an opportunity to sell.
It's about further restricting the consumer based upon nothing more than greed. That's why people are complaining.

Yeah, as a gamer I know I'll be buying the Xbox One to make use of all of the features that already exist in my household without the use of the Xbox One. Totally worth the huge price tag of a next generation console, especially since it won't focus on games, which definitely isn't my reason for buying a gaming console.
Another sub-par entry into a genre that just won't die, unlike the zombies that make up these games. Leave zombies to the experts, or to fans of zombies who know what gamers want.

I didn't buy a PS3 to play blu-ray discs, I didn't buy it to listen to music. I bought it to play games. I will buy the PS4 to play games. Extras are nice but gamers will buy something for games, not for TV or music. We can still get that everywhere else. So Microsoft, what is so new and unique that we need the Xbox One to enjoy it?
It should be interesting to see what everybody's got up their sleeves. Hopefully up Microsoft's sleeves there isn't another joker.
If Microsoft continues with its current trend. The PS4 is a clear winner.
