Why hasn't Dead Hard already been made? Where you play as John McClane's ghost and stop terrorists.

But since you can't get lower than one bubble, any comment from them should automatically start with fifty disagrees. You have to work for people to disagree with you to that extent that you have one bubble and people on this site are really eager to disagree..

I hear 24 will be coming back as a limited series. I would love to see the reactions of people if Kiefer Sutherland was fired from his role as Jack Bauer and replaced with David Hayter.

Trolling or sheer idiocy.

I recall the good old days when consoles came out and if you wanted them, you bought them. You put in the games and that was it. Now it seems like you have to take so much in to consideration before deciding to buy a console. Merely playing a damn game now is becoming like doing your taxes.

Is speculating about this right now really necessary? We haven't even seen them hit the shops yet.

Just like Microsoft's brute force approach to DRM.

"Our choice to do so, not yours. Suck it up and be good customers." - Microsoft

Us paying customers just can't get enough of it, shut up and take my money and you sweet talking bastards. /sarcasm

Kojima pretending this is anything more than his over eagerness to be part of the American movie scene. Everybody knows he always wanted to be a director and the change in voice actor not only allows him to get that bit closer to Hollywood, but he also gets to redesign Snake into the Hollywood persona he would have preferred had funds and popularity been available for him to do so back in the first Metal Gear Solid.

Yeah, who cares if companies exploit the people who give them money. Who cares if they start to restrict your usage of your legally purchased property.

If Microsoft had any sense, that's the amount they'd be paying me to take one.

@BluGamer77

It's a fight against piracy? Is it? Now piracy is great for people who pirate because they can play movies in any format and on any device they own, unlike when you buy from iTunes. Pirating removes restrictions and when a company is adding huge money grabbing restrictions, it just makes piracy that much more tempting. If it was truly a fight against piracy, why are Microsoft's honest and loyal paying customers the ones that get punished?

What annoys me is how much Microsoft employees smile whilst announcing these things as though they're beneficial and desired.

"So we're going to remove your rights and get in on a chunk of that Apple pie but add some Microsoft cream so your physical copies are as worthless as your digital ones. But, buy from us, yeah?"

4773d ago 19 agree0 disagreeView comment

Valve and Apple never offered physical copies that were capable of being sold. It's difficult for consumers to get upset over something that was never available for them to do in the first place. Microsoft, however, just see a big chunk of pie that they're not profiting from and want to get in on it by depriving their customers of something that has been available forever.

A user on there says it best with the "erosion of ownership." If in any other industry in the world companies tried to pull that shit, it would likely be a finishing move for the companies involved. Microsoft should learn that they're not special and regardless of how much money they have, they're there because of paying customers. Too long companies have begun to adopt the attitude that the gaming industry is an exception to the rules.

4773d ago 13 agree6 disagreeView comment

Why?? Does that even need to be explained? A game like Metal Gear Solid 4 would take like eight discs to run on an Xbox 360, so the size of next generation games could not be run on DVDs unless each game came with twenty discs. DVDs are no longer standard.

I love how Kojima can expand on something without saying anything new or understandable at all.

Konami's Pre-E3 is hopefully just the things that weren't worth mentioning at E3 because the show was awful. Not worth the half an hour it took up.

Hayter made genuine sacrifices for his role, he treated the characters with respect and gave life to two characters with his acting abilities. It was his defining role and he knew that. To Kiefer, it'll just be another notch on his Hollywood belt.

This is all because of Kojima's fascination with American movies and his desire to recreate Snake in a way he would have originally preferred had he been able to utilise Hollywood actors back in the early days of Metal Gear ...

Kiefer may voice Snake, but he'll never be Snake. Hayter forever!
