Red Dead Redemption and The Last Samurai had very similar themes such as modernization and the samurai/cowboy rebellion. I'd love to see a Last Samurai based open world game by Rockstar :)

The ending has to be a dream or some kind of indoctrination attempt. I'll spare you the meat of the theory (just google 'me3 indoctrination theory') but the ending just doesn't add up. Surely all the mass relays blowing up would wipe out half the galaxy? Why does Harbinger appear only at the end? Why are the choices which save the reapers bathed in paragon blue, yet the destruction choice in bathed in renegade red?

Epic changed the AA method in the demo to improve performance, they used FXAA which is much less demanding than the 4xMSAA used by the three GTX580s. Epic said they could run the Samaritan demo off a single GTX580 if they tried it with FXAA and the optimisations they've made.
So no, the GTX680 won't be as powerful as three 580s but it will be a good jump in performance.
650W is more than enough mate, total typical system consumption for a 580 is 363W (including the rig) so 650W can run any single GPU.
