Apparently it doesn't affect the Slim model only the older ones. So if you got a Slim than there should be no problem.
First of I got this when Crysis came out. I spent $1500 on this:
Intel Core Duo E6600 2.66Mhz, GeForce8800, 4GB DDR2 Ram, New house and an Asus motherboard (forgot the model #)
Long story short out of the 4GB ram only 2GB was working properly and I had to go through 3-4hours of just holding the phone and keep calling back many times till I could finally talk to someone. I was told to send back the defective ram and they will send me a new one. I did send it back and ...
....to others maybe not. I get frustrated with the controls gfx suck balls. Other than a handful of first party games 95% of the games are trash on the system.
Nothing coming out in the future and nothing that has been released. Games that interest me are on the PS3 and that is why I purchased a PS3. Nintendo does not cater to my needs at all.

Tomb Raider 3 is still my favorite game of ALL TIME!!
I love Tomb Raider even though the newer games aren't that great I hope one day they will get back to what it once was.

I remember I always had to tweak the settings so I can get the most out of my PC with the game I was playing atm and it did take time...especially when I had to restart the game every time I changed something in the settings.
It does take time to get the most out of your PC if you don't have the best out there.
...you have to play around with EVERY game for 30-60 minutes to get the most out of it from your PC because of the video card...the ram...the processor....
It's just a pain. I used to play on PC's. Never again.

I also heard that the Sims 3 is comming to consoles as well. But for all these games I can name just as many console exclusives.
Plus you don't have to be a tech guru to get the best out of your console and don't have to play around with the settings for an hour before I can actually play a game. :)
Yes PCs capable of best gfx and highly costumizible and there is no need to worry about older games because all should run on the PC but the thing is that a console is way too comfortable and gives you good enough gfx to amaze you.
For example many games on the PS3 just amazed me. Like MGS4, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2...in terms of gfx and it's very confrotable to play from the couch watching things go down on a 52" TV!
....you can't share Warhawk but you can in fact share Burnout Paradise. It can run on 5 PS3's at the same time.
Long answer: It depends on how well Heavy Rain will do on the PS3. IF it does good than SONY will be all over the next project. IF it does poorly than don't expect the next project to be a PS3 exclusive.
Short answer: Depends on H.R. success.

I have to agree with you completely. Though I do not make comparisons on my own I do think that many times PC gamers are just trying to defend their investment which I don't think they need to. Anyways going by this comparison the differences are really minimal. I just picked up my copy (PS3 LE) and can't wait to go home after work and start the campaign mode. :)
