Guess what, I do own FF13 and I never experienced issues.
But let's get something straight. This ISN'T news. This is not news worthy. Why not bring up other freezing issues??? It's known that consoles can freeze up. Games can freeze up. That shouldn't be news to anyone of us.

Let me inform you on something. Console games ever since I can remember have a chance to freeze on ANY system. Systems can malfunction and just freeze up. Hey I'm 200% sure that somewhere someones Xbox 360 copy of FF13 has freeze up yet you don't see that crap on Kotaku.
Also Kotaku is know for bashing the PS3.

Also about the sortages.....just walk into any Best Buy and I'm pretty sure you will be able to buy a PS3. My gf just went to best buy to buy Ninja Assassin for me on BD and she said there where tons of consoles there.

Yes smarty pants I know that you can get video cards for less...that is why I said that in my post. I also know that PC can easily outperform a PS3 or a 360.
That isn't my point to say that the PS3 and 360 is waaay better.
My point is and always was that if you want to get the latest for your PC all the time, (which most hardcore PC gamers do) than it is expensive. This article proves my point.

Kotaku you are an amazing fanboy site!!! How about mentioning that the PS3 version is way superior to the 360 version???? Because if it was the other way around it would be all over your site with capital letters and cherries on top.
....and PC gamers say PC gaming is cheap. $450 for a new video card. (I know you can get good ones for much less but regardless this is way more than an Xbox 360 or a PS3)

I don't like handhelds in general. I just can't get into it. When I home I play on my PS3...before that PS2..and before that PS1. If I'm on the road than I rather listen to music or think about stuff than play a hendheld. But that is just me.
Now everyone is happy I'm sure.

Games are similar to what Nintendo offers but look at the screens....Sony does it better and in HD!!! That is a huge difference in my opinion. I could never stand the Wii's gfx. More precise motion controls + HD graphics = WIN.

DD will be standard as soon as internet will be available EVERYWHERE and not just any internet mind you....but a fast internet service that can transfer 1GB of data in a few seconds. Other than that your average Joe will go to sleep before a movie starts. People won't have the patients to DL movies with HD picture and HQ sound that are 10+GB.
But it will come one day...but for the foreseeable future it's blu-ray.
Oh I almost forgot. Huge HDD's are required for that as ...

As I said the only problem I have right now is the in-game store.
Online is great...no problems so far. The only problem I have is that the in-game store is not working and I can't enter my VIP code. Other than that the game is awesome. Just finished the campaign yesterday...it was amazing. Now playing online as much as I'm able too.
I never heard of this studio before.
But I would love to see how it runs on my PC. If it's REALLY good than I might even buy it for PC as well. I don't play on PC that often unless it's a game I can't get for PS3.
...it's just my nature sometimes.
I got fed up with the media BSing the PS3...especially all the crap PS3 owners got in the first year and two is way too much. So the way I react to articles like this is the result of the media constantly bashing the PS3 and telling me that I'm an idiot because I got one.
Slowly the tables turn by the way but you still see idiotic articles like this pop up.
