Unlike many others I didn't have a problem with the UMD. I think it was good for portable gaming but today I would imagine games to be on SD cards instead for portable gaming.
As long as they keep the games on their servers and the DLC that goes along with it. What if you need a completely new PC and suddenly you can't download a game you got 4 years ago and you really want to play but EA (or another company) decided that it's too old so took it off???
That is why I don't like DD. With DD you don't own a physical copy of the game so it can be lost very easily. DD to me is like money out the window.
This is where DD games will lead. This is what I fear that when you don't have possession of your own stuff but it is controlled by a company you will have to dance the way they whistle.
Sometimes I like to play my PS1 games for nostalgia and I'm confident I can because I actually OWN them.
I say, down with DD and cloud based gaming!!!!!

In the PS1 era, did you see Crash Bandicoot on PC??? Did you see Tekken on PC??? Did you see Ridge Racer on PC???? And there is a ton more.
In the PS2 era as well.
Sony is supporting it's system because they want to sell PS3's. If you want to sell something than it must have something that nothing else has.

The way he worded it was troll like but it is true that Uncharted looks better than RAGE. RAGE still looks good but the texture pop-ins are terrible.
I expected better from a game 6years in development. Especially since it's id.
EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm talking about the console version of RAGE. Obviously anything on PC looks better than on console.

The people I talk about win money prizes on tournaments. There is a tournament coming up in BF3 when it releases. First prize is 1.6 million...obviously split between the team members but regardless...that's a pretty nice amount.
Didn't they say that they maxed it out before ? Or was it Guerilla games?
I've seen a video once of pro gamers. They usually play a single game that will be played at the tournament. They get up at 7 and play till 11 than an hour brake and back to play and they do that till 7 than an hour brak and go back and play till they colapse and start over the next morning. That's a professional gamer.
If they can call chess a sport than why not video games???
Well to be honest neither is a sport but they both can be competitive and there can be tournaments of each.

I always get games from there that don't come to the US.
These games if you look at them are all post apocalyptic. Always have a lot of radiation, the world is always destroyed and you always have to find a way to survive in it.
I think that is something that speaks to the Russian people and this is what Russians like.
