It's not broken but the framerate did get on my nerves a few times.
Has it been fixed yet???
@Crazyglues
Something doesn't add up.
You are telling me that $39 is left for the publisher and $20-$25 is given to the developers??
Humm that is $60-$65 right there.
Yet at wholesale they sell games for $50-$55 depending on how big of a release it is.
I don't know how much publishers or devs get from the pie all I know is wholesalers sell them for $50-$55 leaving $10-$5 profit on each game for whole...
I think instead of blocking used games they should just sell games like so:
- Sell each game for $49.99 and in that you would have your single-player on the disc. If you want MP mode you could pay them $9.99 more on PSN or XBL and get an unlock key.
- Doing that whoever buys any game even used will be forced to pay the $9.99 if they want to play online.
I think game sales would rise do to lower prices and on the long run devs. and publishers...
I agree with you. For SP DLC for Uncharted I would pay. But I'm not interested in it's MP. I understand that some people like it but to me it's all about the amazing experience that is Uncharted's story.
I was into Tomb Raider during the PS1 era, and Uncharted kind of replaced it for me. It's my new Tomb Raider.
To me, this is still a SP game and I see the MP mode absolutely worthless. But that is just my opinion.
If anything, violent people can live out their dreams in violent games so they don't take it on the streets.
I've been playing violent video games all my life. I have not hurt a fly so far. The only violence in my life was 3 fights in high school that I didn't even started. But that was almost 10 years ago.
I'm very peaceful and it's hard to get me angry. I hate people who are violent and act like it in public or hurt others.
I don't think anyone could argue with that.
I would because I buy my games new anyways and I don't sell. I collect. But I understand some people could not afford this and games salles will drop drastically.
I can't take anyone seriously who even considers tables to be better for gaming than consoles....
I mean, did you guys even understand what they are trying to imply???
That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen.
I tried the demo, it was ok. It's worth to pick up when it get's to $10-$15 if you want some mindless fun.
Wouldn't it make more business sense to release on all platforms instead??
I can't figure out one thing.... is this an open world game like Burnout Paradise for example?? Does anyone know?
Regardless of what the WiiU can do Nintendo games do not interest me. In this whole gen. there was a single game from Nintendo I wanted to play and that isn't much.
But my major problem with the WiiU is the controller. There is no way in hell I will game on something bulky like that. I see serious hand pain when I look at that controller.
Most PC game sales come from Steam. In fact, used PC game sales are almost non-existent. In steam you can't sell your games or buy used ones.
Yet, PC thrives. Interesting isn't it??
Some of these issues have been there since COD4 yet each new COD came sells more than the last braking records. This shows Activision that they don't really have to fix everything because whatever they are doing must be right and the sales numbers prove it.
Want to show activision that you ate not happy? Don't buy the next COD. This "blackout day" will do nothing.
I love it how people say that they will stick to Steam yet you can't sell a game you purchased on Steam either. I know they are cheaper but regardless.
@SilentNegotiator
I don't really know how it limits you using your game. Do you mean that now you can't take your game over to your friends house?? Because you can do that too as long as you log in on their system to your account. Or what do you mean exactly??
@T900
You do know that first day DLC and add-on content and stuff like that is all the result of publishers trying to make more money do to second hand sales. Well that's...
I think that Pachter is a Monkey.
It is very likely that Sony will tie your games to your account because developers keep complaining about used games being sold. This would resolve the issue and I'm sure that Sony wants to appeal to as many developers as possible to get them on their side.
Which just means more games for us. Possibly more Playstation exclusives as well....
More developers will turn to a safe, secure and copy protected system wher...
I wonder how saturated it will be with adds.
In either case, I will check it out.
I think it's a different fighting game for many people.
I think that for me the best fighting game of all time has to be the new Mortal Kombat. I think it's just amazing and everything works so well in it.
But that's just me.
