As I said countless times before I will try the game before judging it. But I just can't believe that it is that bad. Also it can be reinvented like Tomb Raider was just now.
I agree that it does look great but so far the locations that I've seen I'm not so excited about. Uncharted 1 & 2 had much better locations so far.
Also, I'm not so happy that they are focusing so much on MP now. Looks to me that MP is the most important aspect of U3 because that was shown the most and it is the main focus of ND this time around. I'm not so happy about this.
I cannot believe that this game is actually that bad. I will buy it probably next week and decide for myself. If for nothing else than I will enjoy this for the nostalgia.
This should not be purchased by a single person. Just to teach them a lesson.
In real journalism you can't make it without some proper writing skills. In gaming journalism, it doesn't matter. Anyone and everyone can claim to be a gaming journalist no matter what. It's sad really. Gaming journalism should be great but instead, it's the lowest form of journalism.

I would have not fired the group. He was right about what he said. Reviewers are garbage people and they are almost never right about any game because they always bring in their own bias and can't be professional about anything. Too many no name sites review games. My dog could review games if he would know how to "write" and it would pass as a professional review. There should be some kind of qualification to be a video game journalist but there isn't one. Anyone can be one...
This isn't what I would expect from a person like Carmack. This is low class and shows fanboyism. I understand he loves PC but there is no point on putting consoles down. Has he even looked at the video gaming market as of late?
Only think that was good in Black Ops is the Zombie mode, Combat Training and the story mode.
I use netflix myself but it doesn't compare to blu-ray quality. Also, I like to have a collection, a physical collection.

I think that this game really didn't needed a sequel. The first Prototype got boring after an hour or so.
PC version will be the best, no doubt but I'm not afraid from the console versions looking ugly. I know it will look pretty good on the 360 and PS3 as well. I'm getting it on PS3 anyways.

It's all about supply & demand. If there was no demand for Halo there probably wouldn't be any more Halo. But this is what people want and people buy and MS is giving this to the people. I don't think that any Halo fan feels like they are being milked. Same story with COD or any other game in fact.

I will not boycott Battlefield 3 since my favorite FPS is Battlefield but I will not buy that first day DLC. They can shove that up in their ass.

This is a simple job for models who are paid very well for this and guess what, they do enjoy this.
