this is exactly what's going to happen, exactly how in the beginning of this generation nintendo was all about "new experiences" but ended up just remaking 2-button nintendo and super nintendo side scrollers. also it'll be exactly how with the 3ds they have made it a requirement for games NOT to use the 3d element because they don't want to alienate people (meaning people who will pay them money). and just as obvious as it is that nobody plays the wii nor are there many ...

It's boat racing on ice, though I can agree it can be hard to believe they screwed it up this bad considering the solid base they had with shift 1 and it's the same developer...but this is a 2/10 game because it is simply unplayable, and not a simulation at all like advertised. The amazon reviews are 100% spot on for the ps3 version at least, and none of us know what these "reviewers" are smoking....
one camera, two points of tracking. but yeah, in a recent sony blog they said the ngp was powerful enough to do augmented reality without tracking cards, so it could do this just by tracking your head. the sucky part is that it only looks 3d if you're constantly moving the console around, which you probably won't be.
people will pay 250 for ngp easy, which basically a portable ps3 or 360, but what the 3ds has show is that it's just a ds but a little better. in the eyes of a consumer solely the 3d effect is not worth twice the price of a regular ds. they would likely only pay 30 to 40 more than a dslite. they are also confused with the skus; the 3ds seems only just an alternative to the dslite, just as it seems with the dsi and dsi-xl. it has the same nomenclature = it is a ds with a 3d option on top. ...

don't get shift 2, it controls like garbage with the exact same setup...lots of people describe it like boat racing on ice and i totally agree. also there is a ton of input lag with a wheel, i don't understand why it is like that when shift 1 was and is totally fine controls-wise, couldn't have just used the same code? i'm getting rid of it.

if this is true, it's because he's counting all the games released in the year or so before the ps3 even came out.
