ok so NOW more bloom "can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on taste" because the ps3 has it...but it every other comparison it's automatic pro for the 360?????? the more articles they do the more they look like a JOKE compared to digital foundry. it's becoming obviously apparent that lens of truth has no idea what they're talking about.

A lot of people don't have 3dtvs, but that doesnt mean that it shouldn't be a factor in a "comparison" about which version is superior and which one to buy.

Clear win for the ps3. Why? Because not only does it edge out the 360 in some regards, the 360 runs at HALF RESOLUTION in 3d, something the fanboys at lens of truth won't even acknowledge even though it's prominently featured on the front of the box. So yes, as opposed to what they say, I have both systems, but I would never even THINK of getting it for the 360.

on the shot of the guy on the floor, the 360 version looks like it has better lighting on his chest, but then you look at the ps3 version and it has better self shadowing or SSAO on his arms, which is not present on the 360 version.
on the same shot, you could say the floor has a slightly lower res texture on the ps3, but then you look at the curb in the top right and ...
ALSO another difference is like arkham asylum, the camera on the ps3 is set to more of a wide-angle than the 360 and pc versions. i think this is to equalize the performance...but the wider angle is to me (and a lot of other people) a better view because you can see all the combatants better. so i will be getting the ps3 version now, and the pc version later (on a steam sale)
people who are disagreeing about the pc version simply have not seen arkham asylum on pc...the difference in overall visual quality is staggering...when at 1080p. at 720p it looks pretty much the same though.
also the way it looks in 3d on pc is unparalleled, except maybe uncharted 3 (but uc3 runs at about 1/4th the resolution).
also neither has ambient occlusion (SSAO) it seems either
but ps3 has a full 720p per eye 3d mode while 360 only has half-res

are you even looking the pics? the lighting on the doctor's face is better on ps3, as is the bloom on the signs in every shot. this comparison is very conspicuous...on some shots it seems ps3 has no AA, but in the exact same other ones the 360 has worse aliasing in the same spots. it does flip flop every couple pics though...something is wrong here..

resistance 3 sold less because when people just look at what it's about it doesn't seem interesting. and resistance 2 was also a disappointment in it's story mode so there was already a bad taste in people's mouths. the gears comparisons are valid because it is clear that resistance enemy classes are modeled after gears enemy classes. bottom line is that people would rather just play something else, and the beta and early impressions of the multiplayer problems and downgraded ...
