sony just doesn't get it, and after so many years, it seems like they never will. IF YOU WANT TO SELL SOMETHING, CENTER THE AD AROUND THE GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE. that is what will convince people, not "dreams of what can be". sure taking MLB the show off the ps3 and with you is cool, but the margin of people interested in that is SO SMALL. just show console quality FIFA or UNCHARTED on a handheld (playable online over 3g even), and then compare it to the crap garbage versions availabl...
not bad for business at all, there are many games that i've watched the whole walkthrough for that i was never gonna buy that from watching i decided to pick up (like warioland shake it), and i know there are a lot more people out there like me.
but it's probably bad for companies that make crap games though, but they shouldn't be putting out crap anyway.

this beta was not even CLOSE to running in 720p....seemed less than COD resolution, prolly a good idea to not cut that in half and make it 3d. on a related note, what the HECK is going on with ps3 games late in this generation getting visual/resolution downgrades???? are they just not spending the development money anymore? other than uncharted of course, but others that have been downgraded recently are latest ratchet and resistance

have you seen one game EVER where they improved the framerate that much (meaning to an acceptable 30fps level) from even a pre-alpha??? i'll answer for you: nope. after they show the game publicly, unless it goes a complete revamp like Sorcery, it is almost exactly what you're going to get.
