Now imagine P.T. running on Morpheus. That's real psychological horror. I don't know if I'd be able to handle it :)
I don't think that I have ever been so scared multiple times by a teaser. Man this game is going to make me crap my pants. I can't wait :)
Great article. I absolutely loved Silent Hill 2, and I hope they can recapture the story telling of Silent Hill 2.
I wonder if it will be called Silent Hills because there will be more than one location. Previous games have focused on one town, maybe our protag travels from one town to another only to find that in they end that are all Silent Hill!
Aww man, I cannot wait for this game. I hope CD Project Red release a demo even if it's just a small demo. The wait is killing me.
I'm still really looking forward to this game. I enjoyed Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. It's definately my kind of thing.
Good trailer, I've got the last two games. But I have to say that I have been spoiled by The Witcher 3. I'll still end up getting both, but I'm much more excited for the Witcher. I'm not sure why... I guess it just comes across as a more... sexy game :)
I have never been so scared from the teaser of a game before. I actually had to stop for fear that I would actually defecate in my pants!
I think this notion of 'betrayal' has grown out of gamer entitlement, and the lack of regard given to the real business that underpins the gaming industry.
Game devs are not your best pals. They are businesses trying to make a profit. They will always go where the money is; regardless of the fanboy rage. They need to stay in business, and the sooner fanboys recognise this, the sooner we can get rid of this false notion of 'betrayal'.
I'm really liking what I see with this game. Will it still to PS3, I liked the whole of using the move controller as the flash light.. But hey, I'll take a complete PS4 reboot anyday.
The road won't be that long. Phil Spencer has confirmed that it is a timed exclusive deal. Here's the Eurogamer article http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
It will then definately come to PS4 and PC platforms in early 2016.
Yeah, I think Phil came out and confirmed it because the deal was generating negative press both towards M$ and Squenix.
They should know by now that gamers are not stupid to fall for marketing shpeel anymore. Look at Sony's conference, they made it clear what was exclusive, and what was timed exclusive, and what would simply release first on Playstation. They had no need for spin.
Not aweful, just not anything special at all.
For example, you've got an A.I. buddy with you, who basically says "I'll be right behind you" but then disappears from the actual gameplay experience until you get to the next cut-scene?
C'mon, it's these very old last gen tropes that prove this game will be mediocre. If you give me an A.I buddy, and the A.I buddy has a gun - then when I'm getting shot at, I expect my A.I. buddy to op...
So that's a 3:1 attachment rate ration for software, welldone Sony. I guess the days of saying 'Playstation owners don't buy games' is well and truly over.
I wonder what the boys over at Crystal Dynamics will make of this news?
I would have preferred Kratos as a controllable character to Shadow of the Colossus skin.
Dude go home. You clearly work too hard.
We do this for the fun, remember. Fun! You seem to like your games minus the fun factor.
Sheesh, talk about taking things too seriously!
Dude, you are obviously a newbie when it comes to the MGS games.
A word to the wise - if you don't understand Kojima-isms and the MGS games, then go bother someone else. 'cos round here no-one really cares for pretentious self-righteous political correctness, getting in the way of gaming fun.
Exactly, that trailer was pure MGS allover, and we love Kojima even more for it!
With Destiny and CoD:AW Activision will have the multiplayer market pretty much cornered. There really isn't any other Multiplayer game coming out in the next 12-24 months that can challenge either two. How different it may have been if EA didn't royally kcuf up with BF4.
Same here, I pre-ordered the game before the Alpha was over.
I have to admit, when I first played it, I was too scared to finish it, and I switched it off. It's taken me about 2 hours but I've finally completed it. The last time I had that kind of scare was when I last played forbidden Siren.
Imagine if Sony decide to bring P.T. to Project Morpheus. That wold be insane!!!
