Everybody can't like the new control system in KZ2 but when a reviewer can't separate a deliberate slower control scheme whit a defect one and can't adapt then that person maybe shouldn't review games any more.

Every KZ2 article needs some sort of fanboy guard in the comment section. Maybe an IQ test?

It's in my profile.
You know how to get it.

The post should be here in an hour or so with my copy. Gives me time to eat breakfast.

Haven't played Flower yet so I can't say anything for or against it, but judging from the film clips I've seen it seems really cool. I like games of many different kinds.
But this elitistic way of thinking about art forms is a far greater issue than just KZ2 vs Flower. All the time we get to hear from art critics, who claim they posses some kind of universal power of authority, what is good and bad art.
Books are better than movies, movies are better than games, drama movies are b...

I really don't like people that try to separate art into good and bad art. There is just art, and personal opinions. Claiming one art form to be superior is like claiming on food type to be tastier than others.
Games are different, that's all. Learn to live with it.
Oh and by the way, I would take Nickleback before Bach, Beethoven or any other classical composer any day. I know what I like and doesn't try to justify it with elitistic arguments.

Proper old school. I approve.

Wow. Really brave of you admitting it like that.

Guitar Hero but no Bemani game? I would say Beatmania is way harder than Guitar Hero.

No one said they used PCM. The output is 7.1 sound encoded to 5.1 Dolby Digital with THX Neural Surround. What codec they use on the stored audio on the disc I have no idea.

I don't know what price range you are looking in but I would say that the Onkyo TX-SR606 is a pretty good buy (I have one my self).

Just ignore it. Chances are that someone pressed the wrong post, I know I've done it by accident. And if they really meant to disagree but can't argue for their opinion with a proper answer they aren't much to care about in the first place.

Thanks for the agree.

There seem to be some confusion on how this work technically, so I'm going to try to straighten some things out.

The game uses a technique called THX Neural Surround. What it does is that it encodes 7.1 sound into 5.1. I'm not 100% sure but I guess it's a matrix encode similar to Dolby Pro Logic. So the 360 is actually outputting just 5.1 and when the receiver gets the bitstream audio it decodes it back to 7.1.
This requires your A/V receiver to actually be able to handle t...

"The video, shot at Guerrilla Games' Swedish HQ"
Huh?! Didn't knew they had an office in Sweden. Can someone confirm this? I'm a little suspicious about this.

I doubt we will get this discussion any further. We both have our opinions and no one will ever budge.
But this is how I see it. Neither rape nor murder can in any circumstance be acceptable in real life. By the way killing in self defense isn't considered murder. There is a strict juridical definition on what is considered murder and self defense isn't embodied by that definition.
But I don't think any work of fictional art (yes I consider game to be an art form as well) should e...

So killing is not taboo then? If you defend games involving killing on the premises that it's a game, a fictional work of art, you can't criticizes this game. That would make you a hypocrite.

As long as the fantasy stays a fantasy I don't see any problem. We can't, nor would it be possible to, forbid certain fantasies. Knowing what fantasies that should stay a fantasy and which you can actualize is what differs a normal healthy person from one who needs help. Just like a murderer a rapist is a person who has severe issues not being able to understand what fantasies are accepted in the real world. The good news is that far from many peoples have this issue.

Also many o...
