Really glad this game is getting the recognition it deserves.
As someone who played it without hearing much about it, I completely disagree. The game stands out on its own merit thanks in large part to its lovable characters and clever and heartwarming writing. Even TotalBiscuit loves it and gave it his GOTY and he usually doesn't much care for story in games.
"I don't like this game, so nobody else should either."
...Dude, buying video cards at all isn't even common. Let alone the $300 970 this has as a MINIMUM requirement. It's extremely niche.
I really gotta try Cibele. I keep hearing people talk about it.
Wish I'd known this a little sooner or I wouldn't have bought Grim Fandango on Steam.
Her Story and The Beginner's Guide are by no means over rated. If anything, they're underrated.
Damn. I seriously need to play planescape torment, but that style of RPG has never really appealed to me.
Since when did people judge games solely on how they affected other games? I'm not saying it is the best game ever, since such a thing is purely subjective, but by your criteria, indie games in general are pretty worthless. Most people are never ever going to here about Undertale much like most other indie games. Wouldn't it make more sense that a game be judged on its individual merits, rather than how it affected the industry as a whole?
So, who's hoping for something along the lines of PT?
Wonder what the new lame gimmick is.
Fun fact: How VAs look in reality does not in any way affect how they sound nor how players will perceive them in game. If the developers think that one person fits their idea of what their character should sound like, then they should choose them, regardless of ethnicity.
No surprise there.
It really is. I'd really recommend you give it a shot. It's only like $15 I think and it doesn't require a powerful computer.
Definitely the best indie game of the year .
Witcher 3. One of my favorite games of all time.
Huzzah!
Please disregard my upvote. I did it after reading that the game looked fine to you and didn't notice the comment on Witcher.
No.
10/10 doesn't mean it's perfect. It means it's an amazing must-play. And it is.
