Whoever thinks this is true please tell me which was the console that downgraded MGS4 on the PS3?
Also, the Demo was built around PS3 since the Xbox 360 deal had been sealed very short before. If an Xbox 360 Demo is released and look as good or slightly better than that demo then all this talk will be buried.

People with RROD are getting their consoles repaired/replaced due to the 3 year warranty. The chances of people having to buy a new console due to RROD are slim unless you are a pirate and can't get it back to Microsoft. In that case, it's your fault.

I was expecting the PS3 slim to have a bigger impact on Xbox 360 sales. They both increased in sales though leading to a virtual tie.
My projection was to have Sony taking the first 2 weeks until Halo 3 ODST hype started to sell more on Microsoft's side ending in a very tight end. If these projection are reliable, Microsoft should take the cake on September too with less trouble than I was expecting.

If the Xbox 360 wasn't able to display imagenery at certain level of quality, they'd just make the PS3 version look superior and then downgrade the Xbox 360's, just the way it happened in the past generation when the most exigent multiplatforms looked better on Xbox 360 compared to PS2.
This is obviously not the case but a natural downgrade from the original target renders compared to the final versions, just like what happened to MGS4, a game that remained exclusive.
I can't believe a Game with such scoop, depth and storyline looks this good.

In order to measures the real sales of both consoles you need too sum up PS3 Slim + Regular PS3 and Xbox 360 Arcade + Xbox 360 Pro + Xbox 360 Elite.
Remember that both the Pro and Elite have experienced price cuts, so a more fair comparison would be PS3 Slim vs. Xbox Pro + Xbox Elite.
Tip: It isn't as simple as watching the rank at Amazon.
I thought the PS3 Slim would dominate Amazon for a while, but I don't even see it in the Top 25 today. Weird.
I think Forbes is probably right, hardcores would definitely run for a PS3 nowadays but it seems that most of them already have one. Casuals is where the money is at this point.

I'm having a hard time believing Motorstorm sold better than any other PS3 exclusive except from MGS4. This has to be including bundles.
If not, well, then it's a very weird case in which the first title had very long legs and the sequel didn't do nearly as good as the first.

I haven't played it but have seen the gameplay previews. First think that attacks the eye is how fluent the combat is... unlike ME1 which didn't feel that natural. The framerate has also been dramatically improve with a gameplay as fluent as Gears of War 1 was.
The new characters are even more imaginative and intriguing than in the past, another score for Bioware, and according the IGN, the story promises to also surpass the already excellent one on ME1.

It's precisely those bugs which have been fixed in Mass Effect 2 they're not limiting to fixing stuff, but to dramatically improve virtually every aspect of the game.
Mass Effect 2 has all signs to become Bioware's Masterpiece... and as the Top Rated Western RPG maker, by achieving this it would naturally become the best western RPG created to date.
I'm not sure because the quality isn't that sharp in the video but it seems as if the game had improved visually. It's extremely smooth as well.
What has been definitely polished is the physics. I definitely like what I'm seeing.
1 Week of success and it has already won a 6 year race.
The PS3 Slim is doing extraordinarily well, it impossible not to see this, but proclaiming victory so close to Halo, Forza and Possibly Natal is being a little too enthusiastic.
You gotta give props to Sony for fighting the good fight though.
