The PS3 is kind of an Antagonism. From one side, they call it the biggest graphics horse power and it shows with some of its exclusives, but it's anecdotal that in order to play the best multiplatform game versions, you need to go for the Xbox 360. Quincux is running it, there must be a way to get around this.
The only thing where GT5 outperforms Forza is Car Models. Everything else goes for Forza 3.
For a game that has been hyped so much for its graphics, it's kinda dissapointing.
Car models look spectacular, but there so much more in a racing game. Tracks and environments are definitely not up to the car detail or competition's and there's something really wrong with those physics.
On top of that, the demo itself is extremely boring. What a bad choice of a demo.
If you don't have a PS3 you can see it here:

Lightning is simply phenomenal. Wow, what a hyping video.
2009 might've been Microsoft weakest year but it seems that MS has charged batteries for a Killer 2010.
Who approve these fanboy sites articles?
I thought Uncharted 2 would appear in this list but not seeing it here, is quite worrying to say the least. Sony franchises keep scoring on critics but keep disappointing on sales.
Looking at how detailed the weapons are (even when the screens are blury) it's clear that they belong to a completely new Graphic Engine. I love the way it looks, less cartoony. I really hope these are real. The Halo 3 Engine age was way too obvious in ODST.
MW2 runs @ 60Fps, Uncharted @ 30Fps. For every frame rendered in Uncharted, MW2 renders 2.
PES roots are on Playstation. It's not a surprise that most copies were sold on Sony's console.
In the case of FIFA however (A game that sold massively more) the difference between both is marginal.
It's pretty funny how Sony boys are dying to see Mass Effect 2 on their console. You can't blame them. Mass Effect was incredible, but ME2 outperforms it in virtually every aspect. I expect high 9's and many perfect 10 for this game.
6 Years, 3 Forza's, 3 Triple A Games.
Still waiting for the next Gran Turismo. We all know it will be good, probably great but their timing is deplorable, by the time it releases Forza 4 will be half the way out.
What am I trying to say? Simple, Turn 10 is indisputably the most prolific racing game maker on the planet, they have made 3 genre defining titles whereas Polyphony is still trying to make their act together to develop one. Now that's where efficiency beats ...
Looks good... too bad that for every GT, 3 Triple A Forzas are releases. And when this gets released, Forza 4 will be just around the corner.
I doubt this will happen. If so, the EA Sports brand alone would push millions to buy an Xbox since most of them are absolutely addicted to their games (FIFA, Madden being the biggest)
Also, just take a look at the plethora of high quality franchises EA represents:
FIFA
MADDEN
ARMY OF TWO
NHL
BATTLEFIELD
BURNOUT
COMMAND AND CONQUER
CRYSIS
DANTE'S INFERNO
DEAD SPACE
DRAGON AGE
FIGHT NIGH...
Lol... they've chosen one doctored picture (Sneakily blurring GT's weak point, the environments) and claimed GT5 wins.
The Sony Defense Force is on fire!
Nobody was complaining when the boys claimed GT5P was better. Now the following article proves the opposite:
http://www.gameswire.net/sc...
And Sony boys with sites cry in anger not to compare them. Who understands them?
Anyway, there ARE comparisons between the builds of both games shown last week at TGS 09 and the winner is still Forza...
Sony boys are very sneaky when it comes to GT5. In-car pics showing the nice models of the game, but what about the extremely poor backgrounds? I mean, everything in GT5 looks subpar compared to Forza 3 except from the cars. The only good looking backgrounds (like that icy mountains) are bitmaps that obviously, don't reflect in the cars.
The trees in GT5 (The one shown at TGS not GT5P are basically textured pyramids to put an example.
Sure you can make extremely go...
It will be interesting to see how it works when the dust settles and ODST gets released. The MW2 250GB console is selling fairly well to (pre-orders though)
This is going to be a killer month.
When Sony boys start bringing up the PC argument you know the 360 has an splendid lineup ;)
January: Mass Effect 2
February: Splinter Cell V, Lost Planet 2
March Alan Wake, Crackdown 2.
What a fantastic Q1.
Throw in Halo Reach, Fable 3, Mistwalker game (Blue Dragon 2?), Natal Lineup, E3 surprise for November and you know the 360 is up for a killer year.
