I was able to play only one race this morning but then I disconnected and couldn't get back on since. I'm still shocked how bad Sony and Evo failed to launch this game properly. As others said, more games need open betas to help test out server loads because I'm sure they didn't see this coming...
I'm pretty sure this delay is because of the other heavy hitters releasing around that time. Why else would you delay a game so close to release?
I'm not proud to say it, but I have the platinum for Free realms because I knew the servers would be shut down and I already downloaded the game so I figured why not? Horrible mistake...

Hopefully this will improve the stability of the online by a large margin. I'm having a great time with this game but to be completely honest, it's doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth to know I can't play multiplayer for almost 10 days after launch. This was a disaster from the very beginning and I hope that Evo decides to make another Motorstorm and learn from this fiasco.
I'll definitely be getting this game, I love the Avatar series! Oh, and it doesn't hurt that Platinum Games is making it.

I finally connected to the servers after updating the game and resetting my ps4 but of course the club name I wanted since launch was taken... at least I joined it lol.
I bet a lot of them approve articles solely based on the title...

Just bought the Sony Xperia Z2 a few weeks ago and I'm loving it! It's so much better than the iPhone 4S that I've been lugging around for years and my first Android phone. I already have a PS Vita so I didn't feel the need to wait for this version.
Microsoft probably felt that it wasn't worth investing in major exclusives for Japan at least at first just based off of the launch titles.
Oh it does for sure. I'm now starting in the professional difficulty and it got WAY harder than before.
No problem, as you can probably tell I love the added challenge in racing games and just like Motorstorm, it can be very brutal at times. I wouldn't reject a system that gets harder as you progress farther in the game but that just isn't the case in this game.
I don't know much about this game but I've been told there is no real objective in this game. You just kill everyone and anything for no reason and in very graphic detail as well. I can't speak for anyone else but this is definitely not a game I would ever look into; just my thought on it.
