edit: Because this was a discussion on visuals, not about how well a game plays. Its funny even though you said "Why do visuals matter so much" and then list games based on how they look. Crysis was very acclaimed as well by the way.

Right you are although I was talking about the "looked as good as Killzone 2 (2008), Gears of War 2(2008) etc. Even so, my point still remains a current gen console would never be able to pull off those visuals, so your point is moot.

Disappointing, but not surprising. From the videos I've seen (Zoe3, FPS, Ico etc) theres going to be a lot of damn content in this game. I wont be picking it up, but wow I'm amazed at the sheer volume of stuff theyre cramming into there
It doesnt "need" Blu-ray, but it would make the system much better. I'm pretty sure I saw an article last week saying MS would love to utilize Blu-ray.

I was very impressed by the 3D Tvs I tested out at Best Buy. At first it looked bad, but little did I know the glasses need to be turned on to function. Who woulda thought? Contrary to popular belief it did not strain my eyes at all, it felt very natural and the 3D effect wasnt "in your face" and annoying.
