@Sheddi what a lame response. Why compare 360 anyway with a completely irrelevant comparison.
Someone said the PS3 needs a headset in the box, but all the Fanboys disagree. How stupid are you people? If Sony included a headset in the box of the PS3 as standard there would be a sense of community.
How do you even know who you are playing with. I have so many online friends that I game with from various countries that I met, because I talked to them. Enough said, a he...
@ape007 I cannot believe people are disagreeing with that statement.
Especially with the arrival of Home a headset is a necessity. Microsoft got it right, they included a headset with every console that would play online.
Sony need to include a headset. It is very annoying playing online in silence. Especially when you have been accustomed to playing on Xbox Live.
Another person who hasn't read my message, but let their Fanboy rage get the better of them.
I'm demonstrating how facts in an article matter but people who have already made their opinions lack the ability to read something and see what they want to see.... which means their minds are already made up making articles like this that are nothing more than OPINION read as if they are fact.
When a fact is presented, like the GTA example their already made up minds see fa...
Actually my comment wasn't opinion based at all, but you read it as such because your bias towards Sony got the better of you.
All as I said was that articles like this should not receive the praise they do because all as they do is present an opinion, not fact.
All as I did was present the fact that technically the PS3 version has less lines of horizontal resolution, making it inferior to the 360 version from an outright technical point of view. I didn't say which o...
Like many of the so call positive articles whether that be pro 360/PS3 this is nothing more than an opinionated article from a biased source.
The GTA IV versions were NOT identical to each other, in fact it was proven that resolution wise the PS3 version was quite obviously inferior running at 630p and 720p on the 360. Making the statement opinion based that there is no difference between the two, but technically speaking there is a huge difference 90 lines of resolution. Now be...
Only problem now is getting her to agree to getting it :)
I still read one UK based magazine called GamesTM which is an awesome source of trust worthy reviews.
Many bloggers and internet websites can be found to be incredibly biased. Just look at the whole Gamespot thing a year ago, that shattered many peoples belief of non biased press.
So for me it's nice to still have one source I still feel I can trust, so I will continue to support it. Plus it's very hard to use a laptop will doing a number two on the toilet, magazines...
How much does it cost to download Rock Band tracks?
Isn't Guitar Hero World Tour doing the weekly track packs now too?
I agree with darthv72 on this one.
I actually like knowing when a demo is available, or a new game is out, or the insider movies with Acey Bongos and the other guy. Some of them are actually quite good to watch.
Doesn't bother me one bit. If I had to look at a pop-up with a timer on it that appeared as you booted up every single game it might annoy me. As it is, I actally like to be informed of whats available.
That's fine as long as you don't live in a PAL territory where it is nigh on impossible to get a capture card that supports PAL-60.
Even the manufacturers struggle to confirm whether their hardware or drivers support the format. If they don't you can capture in glorious black and white only.
This feature is very welcome in my book. FIFA 09 was the first game I saw doing it, but the more the merrier.
You can already upload clips of your Halo 3 games to Bungie.net but you'll need to download them to your Xbox and play through Halo 3 to watch them.
This feature will render those clips straight to video so anyone can watch them from the bungie.net website.
I suppose this is the difference between commercial press and what a blogger is expected to be.
Commercial press should provide unbiased reviews of games, hardware etc. Based on the fact that something is better or worse than its competitors. That shouldn't stop them from saying the Wii is better than the 360 or the PS3 is better than the Wii so long as truthful and justified facts are used to support their case.
A Blogger on the other hand is usually an individual w...
Exactly most of the reviews say that between Rock Band 2 and GH:WT you have to make your decision based on the music that ships with the game.
Sarcasm - 8 million people bought and continue to play Halo 3 because it lacks quality?
Your opinion is it lacks quality, the people who buy and continue play Halo enjoy the games. Your opinion alone does not make a game lack quality.
I believe Beyond Good and Evil was one of the best games I played last generation, but several people I know said it was crap, were they right? No! It is just their opinion, use some common sense, what you like and dislike isn't fact.
Slight correction to this article.
The protocol is called Server Message Block.....not System Message Block.
I was thinking it.... but you said it.
Yup I'll second that motion....there is nothing wrong with tea.
I happen to play five-a-side football weekly.
If the book thing was true. Then why do they make books out of Halo, Resident Evil, Mass Effect and Gears of War to name a few.
The person who has written this has probably never even played a game and obviously has a few false assumptions about what constitutes a modern day hardcore gamer.
@Sheddi - I think you have proven my point. You are talking about the Xbox 360. The 360 doesn't come into it at all.
My original, NON MICROSOFT, point still stands Sony should have included a headset in the box as standard.
