green - You are right on the money there. In 2005 when the 360 launched the hard drive wasn't quite as vital as it is now. Even people who originally bought Premium consoles with 20gb drives are finding themselves running out of space frequently.
With all this fanboy stuff left right and centre the internet forums are dying a death. Give this blatant trolling a rest people.
If you have a PS3 and dont like GTA WHY ARE YOU HERE?
If you have an Xbox 360 and are trolling Killzone 2 reviews WHY ARE YOU THERE?
Stop it right now. It's tedious and boring.
I hate to burst the FREE bubble here. Sony said that PSN might not be free forever.
It will remain free while it can be used as a bargaining chip. When the dust settles on this, Sony will want to make up the cash lost on running an expensive online network like PSN by charging either a subscription or in other ways through advertising, or microtransaction. Fact! - they need to make money out of it one way or a another.
Also why do people keep saying the Wii offering ...
People need to STOP whining about one review. It's just one opinion.
In the overall grand scheme of things someone didn't like it, so what. I didn't find myself blown away by the demo myself.
However a number of positive reviews have me looking forward to playing the final game. For all the people who dislike something there are always lots of people who enjoy something. Take Halo 3 for example, for all the anti Halo people here, the people who actually enjoy it and ...
MTV did one of the most unrealistic tests ever. Their results were nothing short of fabricated. They did nothing scientific to justify their statements.
Xbox Live is better. I play on both and if you have lots of friends it's just easier. Easier to party up, easier to get everyone in the same game quickly and the most reliable.
I don't think it will go free. Most people who play on Live a lot say the same thing, they are happy with it.
I never pay full ...
Is Halo Wars strictly speaking a sequel? Not really as it plays out the Halo universe in a completely different genre.
Also timeline wise it is set before the Halo 1-3 games making it a prequel.
Working in IT I know daily how many of the users I support say things like 'yeah it said download now so I did' and so on.
The majority of Windows networks lack security because of poorly configured settings or whole networks where users are local admins for their machines letting them choose to install. Administrator passwords as blank is another good one, what virus or worm isn't going to try that combination.
99% of these infections should be avoided as users shou...
"vgchartz gets their figures from the official chart documenters of each nation. Look at the 'about us'".
Maybe, but saying VGChartz is an official confirmation is a lie. Until the publishers says so this article is purely speculative based on a third party's figures that have been known to be unreliable.
"but it's far from a must."
It might not be a 100% requirement but it's definitely a feature that will add longevity to a title. Once you've played it once on your own, imagine playing again and again in CO-OP. It would be awesome and it's one of the features I expected to be honest.
Like GTA IV it felt like it missed the boat by missing CO-OP when you compared it to Crackdown which had it and was a blast because of it.
No it's not a requiremen...
I would have loved a bit of CO-OP, it is a disappointment for people like me who love campaign CO-OP. Especially when you have already experienced it in titles like Gears of War 1/2 or Little Big Planet.
Yup nail on head!
They made her last gen. Although their comments about 4 chins, it's probably just a bad screenshot.
Although I am not trying to condone the RRoD, I think saying "I don't buy things that break within seconds" is a little harsh.
I am sure there are PS3 consoles that develop faults and I am sure that the main issues with 360 hardware relate mostly to launch consoles (Xenon) which I own.
I did get an RRoD about a year ago and it was replaced with another Xenon when it happened. Despite any chance of failure the Xbox 360 is one of my favourite consoles of al...
I disagree with everything in that article. With only two exceptions.
The games on there were hyped up, but were still great games. GTA IV, MGS4 (if you can stand the hour long cut scenes, which did get to me a little), Gears 2, Left 4 Dead are some of the games I have played and enjoyed the most this year.
As far as exceptions goes, Resistance 2 because I have yet to play it. The Wii is the only thing I agree with. I'm willing to bet my Wii has seen less than 10 ho...
Unfortunately I updated mine unaware of the Freeloader block. Only to find it stopped working. Which was more than a little bit annoying.
"Racing and bad mouthing other racers as you blow them up and run them off the road."
The above is exactly why Nintendo will not implement the feature when they want to maintain their family image. Bad mouthing people? The horror!! :)
@RageofReaper
Thanks for the assist, I'll give that a go. I've actually been to Springdale but not to the school just the surrounding area.
I'm really struggling to get into Fallout 3. Everyone is telling me how awesome it is, but I have just made it out of the Vault and to Megaton and instantly when I move anywhere I get attacked by some really powerful animals. I can't afford much ammo which misses most of the time anyway when I try so I end up using a lead pipe to club things to death but this costs me health.
Any tips? I don't remember Oblivion being a problem to get into I was gripped instantly. I like the setti...
Er! comment appeared in wrong place sorry.
@darkride66
One more time! I AM NOT STATING AN OPINION.
I am demonstrating that this article is nothing more than opinion. My example of resolution is a demonstration of FACT! that the PS3 version runs in a lower resolution is important. You see it as a game running in a slightly lower resolution, the developers see it as using the processing power used for those lines of resolution for other things. Like maybe post processing, like maybe sustaining a decent frame ra...
No, all Xbox 360 consoles currently on sale have a HDMI port on them now.
