Should we leave features like that solely to Tombraider or can we make it better?
I'd say the D-Pad and the analogue stick were pretty innovative. I'll put it another way, could you see gaming without them now?
This list does not meet my own top 100 standards, therefore it is a FAIL (As is my right according to Section 219 paragragh 3). I have read the N4G rulebook, and according to Section 504 anything that I don't agree with I can whine about and downplay because my opinion is better than others. I know better.
Unless they share my opinion, then I will agree with them and give them a bubble.
Any chance of the interview instead of just a quote?
Not really.
If you have faith in him as a writer you shouldn't even be defending the score. You should just let it be and let the flack be thrown. There's too much defending of scores to appease the fanboys that attack them.
You sound like you're embarressed about the review. I imagine that won't make him feel very good when you seem to be palming his review off as something you 'let slip through the net' when you were busy with other things.

Reviewing a game is not an exercise in maths. There might be sub-scores for graphics or sound or whatever, but that doesn't mean it has to have a mathmatical average of those sub-scores. It's generally a score for the overall game as it all comes together.
For example a game could be totally shit in graphics and sound but there might be something about it that is just very addictive, it plays well and makes you want to play it more. To base the game on the graphics a...
Just got this yesterday, it's excellent, one of the best games I've played this year. Judging from all I've seen about the glitches in the game I was expecting to see a few but I haven't experienced any yet and I've put 10 or so hours into it already. Maybe I might see some by the time I've finished but it doesn't seem as buggy as it's been made out to be.
There's more war stories on N4G than the BBC News.
3D is not the same as the switch from SD to HD or DVD to Blu-ray. Upgrading from an SD tv to an HD tv was a simple case of buying a new tv and seeing a drastic improvement. Blu-Ray was a simple case of buying a ps3 or a Blu-Ray player to use with your existing HD tv. Simple and yet clear improvements.
3D technology however will involve buying a new tv and 3D glasses for anyone that is in your household. Where HD tv and Blu-Ray are simple upgrades, 3D involves using more than ...
Eh? It's got Pyramid Head in there, it's one of the only ones I agree with.
Yeah he's a complete twat. He thinks if you repeat something over and over again it gets more amusing.
Gtamike, trust me, it doesn't.
My little brother has smashed controllers, broken discs and thrown his console up against the wall. I have repeatedly told him he's a fucking idiot and have gave him no sympathy. Yes, people are the problem, not the games. If you break something to do with your gaming because of a game you are an idiot and need some self control.
The old Cole was better. The game looks like a big improvement, don't get me wrong, but the old Cole was better. Just doesn't seem to follow on that well, he looks and sounds nothing like Cole, regardless of hairstyle. A small point maybe, but it bugs me.
Because they still play better than 99% of games out now. How can Ninty fans go wrong? Have a look at how many sequels have been released on HD consoles in the last 5 years.
I think people saw it and said 'We've already got MarioKart'.
Well deserved.
I was offered driving lessons or the money to get an Amiga for my 18th birthday. I chose the money and bought myself an Amiga 500. I loved it, I had a snes and a spectrum at the time and the Amiga just seemed to blow them away in power (especially the Spectrum obviously).
I have fond memories of playing Syndicate, Dungeon Master and Cannon Fodder into the early hours of the night. And I started making my own music on trackers, something that wasn't really possible on my o...
Who is this Justin Bieber guy? I can't be arsed looking.
People don't have as much money. It's not rocket science.
