Yeah, Japanese history just wasn't the same after that. I'm glad those Giant Enemy Crabs were killed off though, they were a big problem to the ecosystem.
My favourite moment was the announcement for real time weapon change. That was fantastic.
I'd take the bearded dragon.
This article is shit. I wouldn't mind if it was funny and shit, but it's just shit.
Thought as much, oh well guess he'll have to start it again or just finish it on mine.
Thanks.
Do all games have locked saves? Just wondering because my mate got a ps3 today but he's got quite far into Infamous on my ps3 and he's gutted he can't just get his save off my one. I haven't looked into it too much but I was pretty sure you couldn't anyway.
They won't apparently.
That's the way I feel about it. It doesn't quite stack up to San Andreas which is a shame because there was more crazy stuff to do in SA, but if you take it for what it is it's still an excellent game.
You owe it to yourself to watch this video if you haven't seen it before :)

It has been one of the best years for gaming that I can think of, for all systems. To think that we've still got 6 months left. Plenty of games to come as well.
Gaming shouldn't be thought of as a career surely? Unless you have been gaming competively for a living....for 29 years.
I have high hopes for this, loved the first one.
This article has the distinct smell of 'Exclusive Envy'. A condition very common amongst 360 owners.
I'm only joking. This is a terrible idea though, and it will never happen, so what's the point?
Besides, if I wanted to play Mario in true HD I'd use dolphin on my pc. As it is it's a great looking game anyway so I won't bother.
Another old school gamer :)
I agree, especially Elite. A huge game with so much you could do, how they managed to get all of it to work on the 8 bits was nothing short of genius.
The first game that made me feel like I was a star fighter lol, never did get to Elite, I think I managed to get to legendary or something like that. Was a long time ago, fond memories though.
I'm not sure I can narrow it down to one game really, there's been some very bad ones including the two mentioned. There was Mortyr, I remember that being terrible, and the sequel from what I played of the demo looked just as bad. Daikatana was another. Fall of Liberty, that was crap.
There's loads that I've played over the years that fall into the 'shite' category but those stick in my mind the most.
I already did lol, I've played Shellshock 2 which is equally as horrible. Well it had slightly better graphics but it was still really really bad.
I'm pretty sure there'll be some more fps turds to surface in the future. Just gotta make sure you don't buy them aye :)
God I remember You Are Empty, what a pile of shit that was. It looked promising when it was first announced and from initial previews, but when it was finally released it was an abomination.
Good article.
'The black race, a very intelligent one, has seen many hardships over the years.'
That line's quite funny, you could take that as racist by saying that he's implying other races may not be as intelligent.
EDIT:Oh I see looking up I wasn't the only one to notice it.
I'm inclined to agree with you actually. I had hope that it would turn up even when it turned into an industry joke. It was sadly not to be though I wondered wether anyone else would pick it up as there is obviously a large fanbase for Duke.
Not really sure what to make of this though, could be a Duke Nukem game like the side scrolling one we had a few years ago. Or something completely different. Just have to wait and see I suppose.
EDIT:Does look like ...
I put plenty of ten p's in this game when I was a kid. I'm not sure about the sequel though, could go either way. Need to hear more about it really.
