Although I'd love to see a sequel, I don't think it would count as a new IP just because it skipped a gen. Weird how they haven't done a HD or Remaster by now...

Nintendo has merged thier markets. despite the loss of 3DS support it's an ingenious move. I could easily see Nintendo following it up with the "NEW" moniker just to pimp this ride out in a few years.
If it's true, your about to see the last few gems slowly trickle out for this device. They'll most likely be from 3rd party pubs localizing RPG's and SHMUPS...
So much for that "NEW" 3DS they just suckered people into buying. It would be foul if Nintendo really dropped support on it so soon, but granted 3DS thrives off 1st party titles and the Switch in contrast, has tons of 3rd party support I can see why Nintendo would shift thier attention. You'll just see alot less 1st party on 3DS, all those damn shovelware companies will thrive instead...

I guess by "exclusive", they were emphasizing on PUBG itself? kinda cool it's a 1TB, which tbh should've been the norm already. Watch for the influx of PUBG codes on the net, it never fails with bundled titles.

This will likely cause retailers to open up another round of "pre-orders", I really dislike Nintendo's supply and demand tactics...only reason I even have one is because my brother in law knows someone at the Nintendo store in NYC. Like seriously, that's way too much effort to get something that should be readily available to anyone. At worst, sell it directly to the consumers through their own site even if shipping kills it lol.

Sony & Nintendo seem to be making tons of money while Micosoft flaps around like a fish out of water, Xbox has been my lead console for years and it's frustrating how the exclusives are nowhere to be found, I've been waiting on CrackDown3 for years. It's as if they have thier heads in the dirt. I own all 3 and it seems like PS4/Switch are getting 3x the amount of games. Atleast that's what my wallet is telling me, if it weren't for the X1X I would've given up ...
What difference will it make if it takes forever to grind the material necessary to forge them? As is, either you get a lucky random drop or scrap said random for 1 piece out of the 10 needed to make another...
None, M$ is simply using thier 1st party titles to promote thier game pass service. I doubt Sony will do the same, they have way too many exclusives lol. And we know Nintendo never will try...
Battlefield bundle is nice, 3 games w/premium passes for $50, all 3 have active communities as well...
You know just about all their 1st party WiiU games will be ported over at some point or another. Alot of those games sold poorly simply because the attachment rate was pathetic on the WiiU. These are still great games, so they really do merit ports, that way losses are recouped by the vendors and consumers play seemingly lost gems.
Only took them 4 years to realize this huh...lol. If it weren't for Xbox Live I would've never messed with M$ in the first place. The more I think back on it, M$ exclusives have been scarce since the 360 days, in fact the OG Xbox had the best library...

I'm sure Nintendo's stockholders cared about the WiiU. We did too at one point then they had no 3rd party games and everyone jumped ship. Thier 1st party titles didn't keep us satiated long enough to care...
