I think the Wii made developers think outside of the box because like it or not it was innovative but developers were lazy gits who only know how to work with raw power and what they know best. Look at the state of the Kinect and the Sixxaxxis if you dont believe me.

please correct me if I watched a different E3 but the Wii U tech was not about mirroring what was on the tv screen so why has everyone forgotten or making it out like that was the case. Apples tech is based on mirroring so I am lost.

Sony nor Microsoft support smart phones and before you say they do it's their own platform. At the end of the day their are enough publishers who support smart phones and Nintendo sticking to their business is good enough and wont cheapen their brand.
