No one can call that an announcement of the ps4.
Sony showed concepts, CGI and little actual in game graphics.
Nevertheless it was a good show but you can't announce something that has made no appearance.
I am sure they said this thing will cost around £1000.
Anything over £300 is a danger, which is why I worry how bigger loss Sony will take on the PS4 in order to make it mass market friendly.
After their concept conference I think MS will pull the Wallet out to cock block them out of a few exclusives.
So they may cancel each other and it will have sod all to do with the steam box.

But it's weaker that the ps4 as the wii u is weaker than theh next box. Question is if it will be visible.
Now they are using the PS4 to sell the flagging Vita.

It's a great system but just expensive, however, you cannot expect people to buy a £400 + system, (which the PS4 will be) and then shell out £170 for a vita just to remote play.

Nintendo is Nintendo and will always be ok. The only thing I see happening is they sack and replace Iwata and bring in someone with a vision of power over innovation.

MS and Sony, although I have both consoles, this time around I wont so I will only get on to compliment my U.

I believe they have a potential hit on their hands like the Vita should be but Sony dont do mass market friendly prices so I dont expect it to fly of shelves.
I think minimum look at the tech etc we are looking at £400 and that's with them making a loss on each machine.

Oh it's the Bayonetta syndrome all over again but at least this rant is from people who actually buy and play the games, unlike some.
If they ever brang gears to ps4 I would not buy the next box but the way MS are closing their system, used games and making things compulsory will hurt them and for that reason I am not looking forward to it anymore.

The Wii U according to actual stats is performing the same as the ps2 did when it was released and is doing better than both the ps3 and 360 in the same time frame of release.
Actually, I got mine at launch for £150 because HMV gave away 2 games for free and I got another given to me a long with zombi U and I sold what I did not want to recoup the cash. I am a happy man.
The system is worth the money though but at most maybe £280 for premium.

they have high disposable income so I dont think it was a price that stopped them before.
Wii U is always going to be my go to console as it's fun and different to how Soy/MS do things.
Sony/MS will be a complimentary system this time around.
The Wii U is capable but once again maybe hardware makers need developers more then the other way around unlike the good old days.
