I got a 3080 ti for 734 its not the lowest cost i could get it but when the scalpers steal all the 4000 cards the price of the other cards will go back up.
@HeliosHex In 2008 on newegg i got a Amd 4870 for 139 dollars. It maxed at 1080P on ultra settings at 80fps fallout 3 , bad company 2, World of warcraft ran at 144fps and every other game i threw at it but crysis we are getting less for our money now.
Amd Needs to match the ray tracing performance they are way behind im stuck with a 3080Ti until amd catches up.

Its not a couple fps its like 40fps to 60fps more at 1440P at ultra details thats more fps than consoles get at standard so its a big jump its just the price and the power draw suck. My 3080ti will be good untill these cards come down in price in two years then maybe i can pick one up at a decent price. At 1440P these gpus will be pushing 165 frames per second as a minimum this is way out of reach for consoles.
