Did you see the video of the remake? How it looks compared to the original? That requires a lot of work. It will have all the DLC and mod support for consoles. All that is worth $60. It will be like a current gen game. Don't like it? Don't buy it.
Capcom didn't do sh@t to RE5 when they released it on PS4 yet I don't see 20 articles a day about it and "journalists" crapping on it. Why is that?

Well FF7 belongs on playstation anyway. It was first released on it and owns it's success to playstation fans.

This Skyrim remake hate has got to stop. You don't like it? Fine. Don't by it than. Personally I can't wait. I like remakes. But that's me. I don't go around writting crap about games I don't like because I know there are people who enjoy them.
1080p/60fps would be nice and should be standard. This was promissed to us last gen for every game by sony. Actually it was 1080p/120fps.
If only all devs were thinking like this. Also games at $40-$50 would be much more reasonable.
In my opinion Uncharted 4, Doom and Dark Souls 3 are all deserving titles. Keep in mind though that games released early in the year usually don't make it to be GOTY because the experience fades away and the experience of the current hot new releases seem to be better. Just look how many times games released during the end of October to the end of November get the GOTY.
It does look good but I'd love to see a single player campaign.
