Hummm, you have good points there but I think it's still fair to compare them because they are the same genre and have very similar gameplay. But NiOh does feel different from a Souls game. That's true.

NiOh is pretty good. I think there is room for both NiOh and the Souls games on the market. NiOh is basically Dark Souls in Feudal Japan. I like both.

Yes, a game can have female leads wothout being SJW thing however when someone who is doing the game is a huge fan of Anita Sharkeesian, it makes you wonder. Neil in his words said that he is a huge fan of Anitas work. We all know what Anita is like so you think my assumption is absolutely baseless?
We tend to think that in our day and age we are free to think and say whatever we want. However, this is not the case at all. Say something that offends someone and it could be the end of you. Haha, I have no problem playing as a female. You know who is my favorite all time video game character and video game series? That would be Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series.
But for me Uncharted = Nate. Simple as that. I would not like to see a guy replace Lara Croft in a TR game either because Tomb Raider = Lara Croft. That is all.
Also, if they are doing it for the right reasons, I have no peoblem with it. But I have a hunch it's done for femin...

I absolutely agree with all that you said here. I wouldn't mind a new SKU either that has the 4K BD built in. Could be called the movie edition or Pro Elite or something. Just for movie buffs. But that will probably not be happening. So, we need to wait until the PS5 but I hear that 8K TVs are on the horizon. So maybe that will be the top resolution by the time PS5 comes around. We'll see. I was thinking of the XBox One S as well for 4K player but I'm not sure if I need a second c...

Sly games are very old. There was one on the PS3 that was a new one but other than that Sly games were on the PS2. There was a few R&C games on PS3 and one on the PS4. You said past 10 years yet you listed 5 games all together. That's few and far between. Especially compared to what we got back in the PS1, N64 days.

See, this is the thing. Your argument is based on a word that you took out of context and sticking to it thinking I said something I did not. When I said "superiority" I meant in terms of games not in terms of power. That should have been clear by the context of my comment. Apparently it was not. I could understand your argument if I said something along the lines of; " oh the PC isn't capable of better graphics and faster framerate than consoles" now than your argumen...
You have many good points but personally I would have paid even a $100 more if it had 4K blu ray player. I love watching movies and loved that ever since the PS2 I was able to use my console to watch movies and play games as well. But that is just me and two of my friends. Maybe we will get it in the PS5. Until than, I will have to look for a 4K blu ray player but not wiling to drop $300 for one which is the average peice now. Maybe at $150-$200.
PS: before the PS4Pro anno...
The games is $39.99 in the USA. You guys in Australia pay more for the same game. That sucks.
I think this comes down to personal taste. I like them both equally.
