Ps4 gpu is 1.84 tflops memory bandwidth 176 Gb/s , 32 ROPs ,pixel rate 25.6 GPix/s, 72 texture mapping units,Compute on ps4 gpu is as powerful as that on R9 290.
So you see the gpu in ps4 is no slouch.
