Test Drive is an amazing experience! And just think what improvements they could make now after all this time! Can`t wait for the next.
Well i'm running an E8500 @3.6 with 4gig ram, 3870x2 (cat 9.6) card in a rez of 1440 windowed (1900 was just too much). Everything on v.high except AA which is disabled. And for me it looks great. Ran the benchmark which came in at 25fps. The post processing adds alot of blur and some nice looking ambient fx but also reduces the jaggies somewhat if AA is disabled, and of course AA is probably the biggest killer in terms of fps, so its a good compromise.
I`d like to think they will only announce when its close to being finished, most of the other versions were delayed at some point but what made it worse is because they announced release dates fairly early in development. I`m also happy that PD have pretty much been underground since Spec 3 arrived, can only mean they have been knuckling down and really going hammer and tongs on development.
Im still in shock at the amount of people on here who think this is real! But hey, i guess you`ll believe anything you want to if it seems positive. Twitter is really becoming quite tiresome of late.
There`s a private beta starting in the next few weeks. Working with Sony and having friends at Zipper has its perks ;)

Edit-: Then again, looking at the update in that article....it might be best to just get the superior version on 360.

Maybe i missed the Nascar and WRC licence included in F3? Or the fact they have now got 16 cars on track instead of 8 from F2?
Any respect i had for this guy vanished during E3, which is a shame as clearly looking at the game is all one would need to do to realise its potentially a real classy game. And more to the point he has no idea what PD are do...
