Thanks for the link but I know what screen tearing is and how it works, for me its a problem, that of course would be eliminated if they manage lock at 60p. Im hopeful only because the PS2 versions were absolutely solid in this respect, and Kaz being the perfectionist im sure he`ll do it. I`ve seen tearing even in the vids, more noticable in the 60fps vids on Gamersyde.
Im hopeful PD will manage to lock at 60fps and eliminate the screen tearing WITHOUT sacrificing the visuals. 6 months or so to release says its very possible. I want them to optimize the hell out of it now!
I like it how people only seem to use that Destructoid preview quote all the time, i mean..its not as if they favour one console over the other........oh wait. People need to come back in 6 months time then re-evaluate.
Knock yourself out.
The problem posting that Jolly is the comparision is using Prologue and not GT5. Even so, nice to see a 2yr old demo mixing it with a game from Q4 2009. Also, i think a comparison using full screen shots would give a better result (for both games), maybe using 1080p mode for Prologue and 1080p upscaled for F3?
Now THATS how you do lighting!
See, instead of writing a wall of text like that, i just kept it simple. Choose wisely.
If you have the money, buy both...........if you don`t.....choose.............. .wisely!
4.0? .........ok, what year are you living in out of interest? 2011? 12?
No issues at all (PS3) version. As far as the game itself goes, im lovin it!
"YEAH!!!!!
Except for the fact it dropped its frame rate 2 times over the course of 1:30 seconds...
Definitive racer my A$$
GTPSP can keep a better frame rate."
And GT5P (Lets stick to comparible games now shall we) drops frames and has it`s fair share of screen tearing, and looking at the recent GT5 footage, so does that.
Solid as a rock.
They use engine assets but stream rather than display in real time, freeing time to load levels etc etc. Batman is no different though they do use higher detail modelling compared to the stuff you see ingame.
The cutscenes are pre recorded, in the same way as Unchartered, to mask the loading.
Excellent results, hopefully Sony can keep the momentum going through into 2010.
Fantastic, though i think the original video source should be used (Gamespot) and not this Youtube one.
Fantastic, also go to the Gamespot vid section as they`ve put a new gameplay vid of the new Lambo round Catalunya!!! Its a must see.

Wonder if it has something to do with this?
Looks fantastic! Easily one of the best 360 lookers! Tremendous audio also! An absolute must buy!
"MEH"
Indeed, just how is a 2yr old demo able to keep pace with F3? Anyways, lets drink to a new head to head in 6 months when GT5 releases.
