That and the controls. I feel the newer 3D Mario games have tighter controls while in 64 it was hard just walking on a plank
I played it for the first time this year and it has not aged well. The controls aren't that good and the environments are empty
the technology is available right now no need to wait 30 years more like 2-3 years
Most games they make are usually only available on 1 platform so I doubt they it will be on all 3
You haven't played AvP 2 on PC did you? You probably only played colonial marines
While I liked Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I'm not excited for another Eidos game after they butchered tomb Raider into a cinematic third person shooter instead of focusing on platforming and puzzle solving while fighting dinosaurs and mummies and also seeing what they are doing to Thief I lost all hope for these guys

the thing I liked more in the first is the setting and the gunplay. Half Life 2 guns felt and sounded like airsoft guns while HL1 had more of a punch to the guns

nah the game doesn't need a sequel the story ended fine. just give us The Last Guardian and a new Ape Escape

To be fair a lot of jrpgs had a lot on linearity. While they had a open overworld once you get in the areas it gets linear like Ni No Kuni. RPG doesn't have to be open world, RPGs are more about stat progression and item management
