Purchasing the cheapest Xbox 360 console at $199.99 and this wireless adapter (which should be a standard feature for "next-gen" consoles like the Xbox 360) immediately negates any price advantage that people argue in defense of the Xbox 360 (and all arguments against the PS3 still being too expensive.)
Edit @ ReBurn
Arguments are still made against the PS3 still being the most expensive console available, though. Further price drops are being demanded ...
The Xbots like it hard and rough.
I actually saw some posts on the forums at Gamespot of some Xbot idiot fanboys bragging about how the wireless adapter for Xbox 360 had been on some Amazon best-sellers list and how they sold better than the ones for PS3 and how not only does the 360 sell more games, but more peripherals like wireless adapters!
Can the xbot fanboys seriously get any more F'n stupid than that???
It sure would be fun to see and find out.
I'd rather be poisoned, stabbed, shot, hung, stretched, disemboweled, drawn and quartered than get The Cher!
Looking at unfortunate acts such as this occurring to such a young child makes me even more appreciative of the happy and carefree childhood that I had.
As an adult, I sometimes forget that the great memories and good times we all had as children were all gifts to us, and not privileges owed to us.
There may be more to the actual event, but I gather that the child was playing his new game around some potheads ("At sometime around 3am, two relatives of the victim made a run to the store for snacks"). The fat pothead Morales (whom I assume to be a friend of the child's uncle) couldn't wait any longer for his turn to play and decided to brutalize, stab, and murder the child?
Why aren't people like this caught and kept locked away in a psychiatric ward?
But dammit, the retro gamer inside of me can't keep going any further without any new Twisted Metal or Syphon Filter news.
Those are two franchises that were very prominant and lucrative within the Psone/PS2 eras and I hope Sony hasn't forgotten that. It should be considered a crime how Twisted Metal: Black never got a sequel.
How come Gaystation Pee hasn't been banned to the Open Zone yet???
I mean, there are still standards to be held in the Gamer Zone, right?
Don't forget that idiot also goes under the user name: "Piece of Shlt Netwrk"
Take two turds out with one flush!!!
Oh great deduction skills their Piece of Sh*t NetWrk. Much like how Microsoft had to form a deal with 7 Eleven to market Halo 3 soft drinks so that people would pay attention to it, otherwise no one would have bought it, right?
Since when did promotional incentives for consumers become classified as a sign of inferiority or insecurity for a product? These incentives make even more sense when you realize the MAG is a brand new Intellectual Property that has no past consumer good...
Well instead of acting like some piss-poor idiot kid who thinks he's a freaking prophet saying anything and everything associated with the 2010 PS3 software library is going to flop (months in advance of their releases BTW), give us some examples on what the 360 has for next year.
Halo: Reach and ME2...AND???????
You tell the rest (and no, multi-platform titles don't count.) Instead of ranting on that every PS3 exclusive is going to flop, tell what the 360 has in res...
He he he, you think???
The moderators better not let crap like this stand in here (this is still the Gamer Zone, right?), but it's an infantile slam directed towards the PS3 and not the Xbox 360, so I guess they might just let it stand.
No MGS4 or Grand Theft Auto III
MGS4 was such an amazing conclusion to such an iconic game character and gaming franchise that has been around longer than the franchises linked to all of the 10 ten picks. It's omission is seriously F'ed up! The author is very short-sighted.
I would certainly argue that Grand Theft Auto III had, AT THE VERY LEAST, just as much of an impact on the industry as Halo did.
The list continues to fail with the inclusion of Wii S...
Goldeneye proved that FPS's could be critically and commercially successful on consoles way before Halo.
The author of this list is obviously very short-sighted.
If its hit-worthy or flame-worthy, that is all you need to get it through.
Yeah GOTY doesn't mean much...TO YOU...when anything Gears of War or Halo doesn't acquire it.
We can all see through you like a wet T-shirt. STFU and try to save some dignity.
But honestly, why write a damn article about it and make such a big, damn deal out of it?
The writer even went as far as to say: "Let’s hope, however, that Uncharted 3 can reconsider this aspect of devotion to its inspirations."
Yes, because Uncharted 2 just didn't have it going on in that aspect and was just nonsensical shooting with some spontaneous acting in between, right? I honestly think that is what the author really wanted to say, yet didn't want to...
"...takes pains to explain to his accomplices that he doesn’t want them to bring guns, because they’re just going up against museum guards — and he doesn’t want to kill anyone"
"...Drake is hanging from a roof edge when a guard walks toward it. The game prompts the player to hit the square button — which results in grabbing the guard and throwing him to his apparent death. An accomplice makes a joke of this and Drake makes no mention of this completely out of chara...
Natal's design structure, as it has been shown so far, is nothing like The Wii or Sony's upcoming motion control initiative (and no, little guy, that is not a compliment to Natal)
The gamer using their actual body and not an actual controller to control the game seems like a very unique, but transient concept. Which is why I stick by my initial comment above.
That House guy can't even shut up for any more than 5 seconds (and can't go without making some a$$-faced sarcastic comment for anymore than 5 seconds). They need to get someone better to play Gordon Freeman.
