HTML5 Won't be as good as they say it will be, it will replace flash eventually if adobe don't stay on their toes, but as for now they're beggining to co exist and not having both is stupid (I'm looking at you iPad)

I also dislike the idea of playing games in a browser that are online since you would also have to download the levels and map everytime which could end up being quite a bit of bandwidth

Though I see what you're saying in that you're fine with what you do with your life being a open book, if google decides to start key-logging you can send your credit card info through billion bit encryption and they can still get it.

You're ignoring the fact that it's still behind, and that it's been catching up quickly since they released the slim

You're missing the point it wasn't his intention and people who used it legitly are being punished since sony put their tin foil hat of piracy on, it's like saying you can't have this rope to tie things together because it can be used to strangle someone.

Personally I don't care which console wins this "war" I find it something people just like to argue about.

Lets look at some facts

- Sony have been playing catch up since launch and are just about there
- Sony was arragant entering this gen not making much new, thinking it would be like the PS2 but with better graphics
- The PS3 is graphically better
- PSN has less features, but price is a factor and everything and thus PSN > XBL, this ...

We don't necessarily figure it out but we come to a decision of a standard definition of art, by the logic of it being made to sell to the mass it would make movies not qualify as art, or ads, or television shows all games are art, not like you said in a later comment, some are better art than others but they're still art to pick and choose which ones are is playing favorites. That's just my opinion personally though.

Can we stop hating geohot yet? His intention wasn't piracy like everyone want to make it out to be, he wanted to make it to allow people to make homebrew on the PS3, if you followed his blog on the PS3 he was extremely reluctant to releasing it. And lets look at it this way he could do the following for people who just use their PS3 for linux and such. Sony never have stated officially why they are removing it though it probably is because of the exploit.

1. Ignore and and say o...

That's only from what you've searched before, and it's the web-history mode, it can be turned off and is usually only used if you enable it and installed some third party add-on. I use noscript to block out web tracking, and better privacy to delete LSOs if you want to let someone know everything you do thats fine with me, but I'll be secure. I have nothing against chrome or google except the spyware with chrome, I use both Firefox and SRware iron (which is chrome without...

Quality of the looks and enjoyment != to art, theres a lot of crappy art out there, such as stickmen drawings, but it's still art, the abstract things you see that you don't understand are art, you might not find them to be visually appeasing but they're still art.

We need a concrete definition of art, there has never been one, I look at art as something one creates with a learned skill un-uniformally (or dynamically)

Such as that if you painted paintings it's art, b...

I like my tin foil hat, you wouldn't just let people walk into your house under a you've got nothing to hide argument would you?

@Flair and @Kratos

That's what I heard from a alternative source that I trust more than this one.

@Wicko

That's the first article I've seen saying that and it's a blog, blogs are full of peoples opinions, and the source code says otherwise

Because a quick google search turned up nothing, I would assume something like Online Service Provider.

It's spyware from google (source: http://www.favbrowser.com/g... )

Use SRWare Iron, it's compiled from the chromium source code (which is chrome) but they've taken all the spyware out of it. (link: http://www.srware.net/en/so... )

From what I heard no one targeted chrome at pwn2own, and I also heard...

Google translate gave

"* PlayStation ® Store in part can be downloaded from PlayStation ® format software has improved the quality of work.
* MP4ビデオファイルの再生に関するセキュリティ脆弱性に対応し ました。 Added support for security vulnerabilities * MP4 video files for playback."

So basically it somehow improved PS1 emulation on it and fixed a bug/exploit in MP4 and as we know removed the other OS feature.

This, a lot of people download anime H-Games Doujinshi and such that can't access it due to location, I download anime seasonally when it airs and watch it subbed, but I don't have much of a way to give back to the industry since they're in japan and I'd have to import DVD's and such (which would be extremely expensive), and no, the licensing industry does not support the anime industry in Japan very much at all.

I agree with the article, while I like the sprites in pokemon games and the battle system despite thinking they should make 6 moves the max you can learn, they need to include a IV/EV moniter into it, and the sounds have been stuck in the past, personally I don't see the big thing with everything having to be 3D, I like the way pokemon has 2D sprites for battles, but that's my opinion personally, They also need to work on a game where all the regions are one big one/you can travel everywhere,...

I wasn't referring to programming languages, but the CLI itself, I can't speak for e-macs though since I haven't used it.

As for programming in something like PERL if you remember how you did it (not exactly but a brief overview, such as x function calls y function if z is true and else will call b function, with a brief overview like that) you can make it do the same thing, it won't be exactly the same code, but would for the most part do the same thing.

Not meaning this to be offensive in any ways, but iirc you can get USB PS2 controllers to plug into your computer, and I would assume you would be able to program the buttons to keystrokes, thats my assumption though and a idea for you to help you.

@Cobra

"There is no "honest hacker"."

You do realize basically every big website and comapany hires hackers to try and hack them to find exploits int their site/programs so they can patch them right?

Sounds like people who say they hate linux yet they don't realize that almost every web server runs on a distro of linux optimized for that, such as Red Hat, Debian, Xubuntu, etc.
