It was 90 minutes of gameplay that included cutscenes... People jumped to extreme conclusions based on their own limited disgusting views on things. They even jumped to say how the ending of the game was trash when it was even not leaked at all.

I can play the game in 4k on my PC through Dolphin. There's even a 4k texture pack that I can load to make the game look incredible beautiful.
For a remaster it's being hold back for a console that doesn't make it justice.
And full price when a total blown out remake like Shadow of the Colossus costs half that price at release, and titan titles like FF VII Remake that just dwarfs this in the technical dep...
