I find It funny that the guys says "we don't have a playable version of the game" but then turns around 2 seconds later and says that he thinks the controls are touchy. LOL
Well............yeah as soon as Crytek said F****k you to their mod community it showed how little the developers are willing to support modding which is a shame because it is a great addition to a game to be able to mod to almost anything you want.
To be fair though those minimum system requirements for Crysis 1 weren't able to run the game the way it was meant to be played or even run it smoothly on LOW.
Where have you been all my life! LOL jk, but yeah I totally agree with you on that a game is based on the singleplayer experience. If the singleplayer sucks how can the multiplayer succeed? Multiplayer to me is fun, but eventually it bores me because nothing draws me in as much. But I wouldn't say all developers are doing that, actually (thankfully) a majority of developers are focusing equally on both and some (Naughty dog and Bioware) are creating amazing singleplayer stories. @tmoss726 I'm not 100% sure if it is a true sandbox game. It may have sandbox elements to make it last longer, but again I'm not 100% on that. I got the opportunity to check out some gameplay at last years E3 and again it looked like sections of it have open world sections with linear missions throughout that add to the story. Same here the world of Rage would be AMAZING to explore, but I realized (by looking at the game) there is no way a developer can make a game that looks that good and have it be a sandbox game and run smoothly on consoles. Unless they had very very vast knowledge of the Ps3/360s architecture that even Sony and Microsofts first party developers didn't know about. 15 hours for any FPS is great these days. Plenty of people are already getting ripped off by COD's 4-5 hour campaign with no graphical updates what-so-ever, boring, easy and unchanged multiplayer that lets anyone win, even if they are 7 years old and die all he time.
I wouldn't call it just yet. Why would every developer decide to focus on PC just because of DICE? I would love that to happen since the PC these days is VERY under appreciated for the AMAZING abilities it has even with a mid range inexpensive card. What you don't understand is it's all a matter of perspective sony can technically say "this is possible on PS3!" when it in fact is, just in certain circumstances. As you can see the PS3 can render special effect like imaging, but only in a small room with no movement. so basically not for games. Its just a marketing ploy, yes the PS3 has AMAZING graphics on its exclusives, but you will never see those visuals on PS3 in a game like a shooter.
You kinda have the idea but because the PS3's processor is so good it can generate its own RAM which THEN opens up the GPU's possibilities. Plus since the PS3 is a fusion system the GPU AND CPU work together to render the graphics. If the 360's CPU was equal to the PS3's CPU then the 360 would be capable of producing better graphics being that the 360 is ALSO a fusion system, but Its processor makes it inferior to the competition.
Agree with EVERYTHING you said EXCEPT uncharted being a big cutscene with little to no gameplay and 360 being in the same ballpark as ps3. Simply put what happens If I have a GTX 580 With a intel core duo? The system is bottlenecked right? The 360's processor is vastly inferior to the ps3's just google it and see, the reason the 360 can't compete in graphics with ps3 is because of this.

What games these day don't have guns, war or violence? Americans mainly? PLEASE, EVERYBODY plays some sort of a violent game. The main thing I agree with you on is that its CASUAL thats why COD gamers like it and can't play any other game without it being HARD or as the call it "BAD".
