Good article, he's right about the smooth launch thing. Companies just can't get away with a shoddy launch like they used to.
To be fair, it's better than a lot of movie tie-ins. The voice acting's pretty decent for a start. The lip-synching is horrible though.
I've got faith in Splash Damage. Having played way too much Enemy Territory in my time, I'm convinced they know what they're doing.
Pretty cool. Really looking forward to Champions.
Looks interesting. So Scratch or DJ Hero?
Lol, nicely put. I'm more interested in the voice recognition stuff to be honest. I think speech heavy games like Oblivion, Fallout, Fable would benefit hugely from VR.
See, I like the look of this. The vocal harmony system looks great.
Good to see the original dev team involved in this.
Never thought we'd see a Valve sequel so soon.
Finally, Calzaghe in a decent boxing game. Can't wait to tear up Roy Jones with him.
Not sure how multiplayer would work in Ass Creed. Co-op assassinations? Rooftop races?
Not sure where I stand on the L4D2 debate. On the one hand, it looks (and plays) like more of the same. But, the new setting and melee weapons look interesting.
It often seems that one aspect of the game gets watered down in these hybrids.
Might have to give this a look, had a lot of time for Red Orchestra.
Like the art style.
To be fair, the vertical movement is handled very well.
The in-car camera in this game looks amazing.
Got to love such a simple concept, executed so well.
Don't remember CS having a co-op mode.
I really don't get the "sticks are unresponsive" argument. They feel fine to me, much better than Round 3. And, yes, it's how the game should be played.
