It probably wouldn't to be honest. As you can't make a game just for a specific spec of a graphics card. The newest PC games have to be playable on PCs weaker than the newest consoles. That's why the PS5 games won't be as good as they can be until they ditch the old gen. I'd be interested to see how a new gen God of War would have looked if they hadn't had to cater for the PS4. Sadly we won't even see that with Ragnarok.
@flawlessmic that's basically what I meant. Like there's obviously a difference, but on the DF zoomed in screenshots you can see the difference but it's not exactly world's apart. Would you notice these differences clearly when playing normally? Not as much as those zoomed in screenshots as it looked beautiful anyway. Let's be honest unless it was side by side most would think this is how it looked on PS4 (aside from the frame rate). That's why we're lucky to be able to get close to looking like this on what is essentially 10 year old equivalent tech
Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I mean it's been 4 years who actually cares. And games going to PC = more sales and more chance for sequels
@whitbyfox Nintendo points. There's 4 Nintendo games on that top 5. They always get higher placed for some reason. Id put BOTW around an 85 because a 97 implies perfection. It has more flaws as a game than HZD did

Of course they are because the Series S is available everywhere. If we compared the just the Disc PS5 and just the Series X I'd be interested to see those numbers

Square Enix really did used to be the pinnacle of graphics but every game these days looks like early PS4 games
Personally I enjoyed days more 🤷♂️ opinions. BOTW was generic to me (obviously days gone is too) both are highly flawed but one is flawed and gets a 71 and one is flawed and gets a 97.
I didn't. Days is an 8 BOTW is an 8.5-9. Days does things better than BOTW and vice versa
It also did a lot of things worse than other games. That's why people have always berated the score
I did, and it still didn't deserve to get the score it did. Great game no denying. Flawed...absolutely
When you play something like Astros Playroom and can actually feel surfaces it makes you realise how many games aren't using the features of it. Hopefully GT7 and Forbidden West are going to utilise them well
BOTW at #1. I'm actually shocked..it has so many flaws, are they just going off the inflated Nintendo Meta score. If it was one of the older games on the list that's there because they changed something in gaming I'd understand more.
Most games ARE repetitive but most games don't score 97. That implies near flawless. Not repetitive. Here's a few issues I had -
Lack of enemy variety. Do we really want to keep fighting a different colour of the same enemy with the same moveset? And the bosses? 5 or 6 versions of ganon who all look and behave nearly identically.
The shrines - doing pretty much the sameeee thing every time and there's 100+

Prefer how R&C looks to be honest. Don't get me wrong FH looks great. But we've had great looking racing games for years (ok it's probably the best looking one) but they're racing games at the end of the day . R&C feels like you're playing a pixar movie. And the effects are incredible. It doesn't just have to be judged on true to life looking.
Claiming Deathloop as an Xbox game because they bought the studio is hands down one of the dumbest things I've read on here when they had zero to do with the development and it's not even on the console. If Sony buys Playground does that mean that all developed Forza games are PlayStation games? No it does not.

Stick with Xbox and PC? Why do you even need an Xbox that much if you have a PC. PC and PS is the way to go. I feel like you're just trolling saying that tbh. And why would Sony putting their games on PC day one swing the tide? That's just make owning a Playstation less appealing. There isn't a chance on this planet they'll made the biggest franchise in gaming Xbox only. There's too much money to lose from it.
