Track still looks very bland though. Lots of bad geometry going on. Its very obvious we are looking at a game most of the time except for the car.
And don't get me wrong, Forza is no better in that regard. I remember when GT6 and Forza 5 were coming out, they both released images for the Bathurst track the same day.

Its more than likely a slight revision of the 2 current PS4 systems. A few smaller parts, button/LED or insides changes, that's it. There were 3 years between the release of the PS3 Slim and the PS3 Super Slim, 2009 and 2012 respectively.
Don't see why they would change that system now.

@darthv72 Lol "do your homework" i.e. go to Wiki and look at the number at the top of the page. How many of those games are release date "TBA" and "2017" and not out yet? Fair enough, its 1000 or close enough or barely over that. Not so many "great" games and if they are "great" they are even more "great" on PS4 running higher than 900p e.g the unreal engine 3 Batman Arkham Knight.

I think they were expecting a brand new next gen entry in this serie,s that is ready to kick off a new story with more games planned, a game that can go toe to toe with this gen's best like the series did last gen.

We all saw it a mile away. Yet, of course, there are going to be plenty of people out there that say its "such a shock" how awkward and buggy the game turned out................... even though we've all been questioning its status since its proper reveal last Dec when the game was supposed to be finished and going gold right around the corner.

@darthv72 Why go that far for your examples when you have PS4 and Xbone? Xbone itself is the perfect example of a ripoff console at a ripoff price for what you were getting. Even WITHOUT the Kinect 0.75 at launch, 400 would have been a ripoff for a 2004 ddr3 "next gen" console, especially compared to what the PS4 was.
On top of that PS4 had PS Plus games, MMO support, game streaming on Twitch and Ustream all at launch too.
