So while they were there did they actually get on to them about other things like the physics engines or the animations of the machines and all the different pieces of them that make them up?
Because there is SO much more to the engine than just the resolution lol.
@obidanshinobi And yet they even exceed it in a lot of areas. Go back and look at the awful particles, smoke effects, fire effects, meh lighting in that reveal CGI trailer. The game ended up being much better.
Of course, you are getting mixed up by the actual content of the "trailer" and by that, no, NO game is ever going to flow like that trailer did. Its so perfectly choreographed and acted like it was a movie or something. Oh wait, it was.

For Honor was a disaster at launch and also its first 3 weeks on the market with constant online problems and that was also when most players stop playing too. Please don't use that as a "good" example. Its also an online only game first with a tacked on lazy campaign. For Honor isn't exacly an Elder Scrolls game with always online, its a simple combat game only.
Overwatch is basically an online only first person shooter too. They existed before this gen you know.

@Silly gameAr Xbox 360 was one of the most easily avoidable console for me ever, that also apparently was very popular for some bizarre reason.
Since the start of this gen I have said I would EASILY buy an Xbone over an Xbox 360 anyway and even then there is still no reason for me to do that but it is definitely not as easily avoidable as 360 was.
20 quid for a play and charge kit, 90 quid for a wireless network adapter, 50 quid for 12 months of Xbox Live. These ar...
Not even that, they pretty much weren't even ready for the OFFLINE version of the console.
Game streaming, game trials, Games With Gold, large F2P games (that are out of their control, f2p Killer Instinct was released because they could control the size of that games and its updates). All of these things had to be drip fed onto Xbox Live over the course of 2014, all of these things launched day one on PS4.
The one thing Xbox Live got at launch was finally larg...
Yes, if only there was some kind of GAME SHARING utility since October 2014 where you could somehow SHARE a game with another gamer. But, I guess that kind of awe inspiring magic only exists in the wildest realms of our imagination.
Or its a basic PSN function this past 3 years.
@Why o why
Exactly. "no Taco Bell required" is what he said. So............. "taco bell absolutely 100% NEEDED now" ?
We've seen this particular build footage already since E3.
They won't buy it alright (even when it goes down to 5 quid) but they will beg for it to show up in PS Plus for the next 4 years lol.
So, whats with the mistake putting that PS2 screenshot in for this article?
And even then Sonic looked horrible on those levels because they designed everything for moron Sonic (modern Sonic) first.
Classic Sonic in Generations comes off as a tiny Sonic running around a level too big for him

Ya think?
@GameBoyColor "The fact is that japan likes handhelds more" REALLY? And there is me thinking Square and Capcom downgrading their biggest selling franchises the last decade for DS and 3DS would HELP sell PS3 consoles.
What did you think would happen when they got lazy and refused to make their franchises next gen PS3 games? The downside is they made their games even more unappealing to western gamers.
"popularity of hand helds in Japan"
That myth is only a thing because most the launches of DQ, Monster Hunter and main series Pokemon games (some of the 3 biggest selling series in Japan), this past 12 years, have all been on hand held consoles, primarily DS, PSP and 3DS.
These sales are pure proof that people would have paid money for a next gen DQ game on PS3 back in 2009 which just makes me sad we never got that.
Proof that Japan DID actually want a proper next gen of DQ on PS3 after DQVIII. Thank goodness they brought the next one to the N64 capable DS with DQIX lol.
But forgot to add a single player career mode at all lol.
@JaguarEvolved Buying it for Gran Turismo? You do know its been confirmed that there is no career mode in the game right? Its just "missions" like in GT4 Prologue.
I love PlayStation. Can't wait for Yakuza Kiwami, Everybody's Golf, Uncharted The Lost Legacy and Knack 2 and I got all of them for £24 each pretty much.
But GT Sport I will be avoiding because of this atrocity to the single player mode. The Forza 5 and 6 number of tracks is also ...
I know right? Portal 2 PS3 players and Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, MacOS, SteamOS and Linux gamers playing together since 2011 FTW. ^_^
Wait, I thought this was available since E3? The way people were talking about it you'd think it was. Next you will be telling me cross play on Xbox and Switch on Rocket League isn't actually here yet either.
This is an instant jump over 1999's "Silent Hill" though. Now did you actually mean an evolution from Silent Hill 2 or 3 or an improvement over the garbage Unreal engine fog in every game after 4 that would be easy to beat regardless?
