Like Gears of War 4, Sea of Thieves, Scale Bound and Recore that ALL debuted at E3 2015 with a end of 2016, TBA Springish 2017 and March 2017 release dates respectively (with Recore rumored to be delayed to December 2016). We Happy Few was at PAX Feb 2015. Inside AND Cuphead debuted at E3 2014. Below was shown at E3 2013.
There is nothing wrong with this of course. Announce your games whenever you want, just PLEASE stop trying to hammer in some bullshit urban legend that Xbox announc...
Don't forget the death of Neversoft. :(
Don't forget each of the MASSIVE 8 character "Seasons" of this game were 40 quid each. So what, you have to spend over 100 quid since this game came out to finally get a character count over 20?
Yeah, 2 and a half years later and I'm still saying they should have just released a REAL Killer Instinct game for the fans after 20 years of nothing. A team experienced in fighting games and basic understanding of human like animations would have been nice too.
And how come when a game like Killzone Shadow Fall doesn't have any it goes completely unpraised in just about every single review out there. It clearly isn't that important then.
Seriously from the main menu of PS4 you literally get to the game's main menu in about 5 seconds. Before launch Guerilla Games talked about how proud they were to be able to get companies like Havok to not have their logo at the game's bootup sequence and get straight to main menu...
A PlayStation Eye game from 2010 is the Xbone's "reason for Kinect". https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Nice.
The GDDR5 architecture is far more important. And ITS the part that websites like this want to avoid praising because then they are praising PS4 and its 8GBs GDDR5 announcement back in February 2013.
Can you imagine if the Scorpio had 6 teraflops but still used ddr3 and that broken, awkward, bottleneck eSRAM of the current Xbone? No because, like Xbone, that would be the stupidest thing to put in to your NEXT GEN console ever.
Such high hopes for this. With Ratchet and Clank on PS4 you can see Insomniac games back in full PlayStation swing with their own proprietary game engine. With that game you can clearly see they know how to work the PS4 hardware.
And that is why Spiderman should be good. If it were on Unreal engine 3 or 4 or Cryengine, then it may as well come to other platforms since the game is being held back by what ever those engines are only capable of, exactly like with Tekken 7. But...
Microsoft bought Rare and are finally bringing a game out 15 years later that people are actually excited for (some time in 2017, no confirmed date even after being at 2 E3 shows because Sony are the only ones who never announce release dates of course).
I think Sony did fine without Microsoft decisions bringing everything down.
So you think with Sony, Nintendo wouldn't have put out hundreds of constant Mario spinoffs over the last 20 years? Oh no.
Probably, looks pretty amazing at full uncompromised 1080p. Even that cafe he cuts through is very detailed. That Insomniac engine is amazing and is improved with every game they make.
Even Resistance Fall of Man in 2006 had some incredible detail. Look at the window breaking tech in that game for its time (that nobody ever talked about) https://www.youtube.com/wat... Not even the almighty and overtalked ab...
Ted Price has gone on record to say they are officially finished with Resistance after 3 and were happy with the 3rd game. Any future games would be up to Sony and other studios.
Yep. Sony weren't really sure before but now they are guaranteed to be releasing something newer in 2018.
Haha look at all the yes and no answers by actual fans. And then watch them try to say how the Scorpio isn't confusing when they can't even agree on what it is. ^_^
That's just it. Sony's Conference was about 1 hour and 10 minutes, their shortest in years. There was plenty of time to show off the E3 1 to 2 minute trailers of Gravity Rush 2 or Abzu (they even had an orchestra that would have worked perfectly with these games). :(
And Abzu and Media Molecule's Dreams. :)
The return of Rare. 15 years after Conker on N64, after half, if not most, of the team have moved on to bigger and better things. :/
How about we wait for the reviews though before getting excited for an unproven studio's game? Even proven studios like DICE still put out overhyped average games like Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
Gamingbolt yet again talking to a small person at a small studio about big statements and big opinions for the industry.
Great review by Joe but really didn't need it. 5 seconds after the game was announced last year, alot of us knew it would be complete ass and completely and easily avoidable.
Yayyyyy said every Xbone fan on here ever.
