As I enjoyed my countless hours with Wii. What I'm trying to say is, for me, this argument - your own opinion, experiences and fun - is a real argument for the best console, not sales or graphics or power or whatever. I don't care if a console sold more, if everybody around me have and like it, what matters is my own opinion, and that's why its impossible to have a "winner" console...ever.
@jimbobwahey man, I survived all this years with only Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort and both Zelda games. And I loved the Wii even though I didn't play too many games, but too much the same games :P
Of course, I have a PC so I think that's the why I didn't get so many games for the Wii, but even so Wii was my favorite console of this gen.
What I'm trying to say is, ii wasn't a waste...

lol "BSOD, Viruses, Registry Errors". Man, I have 40+ trojans in quarantine (and even for that help from Norton, still hate it); lots of BSODs, mainly from changing hardware or tweaking it....and I don't dare talking about the errors. PC gamers dont care about it. They just fix it, and continue playing.
People love to talk about exclusives as an argument to defend consoles...but we have 2 awesome things: mods, and amazing indie support. Indie, simple games that are aweso...
Yeah online features were never the strong part of Nintendo...they are only good at making the best games because of the awesome stories and gameplay. :)

Well, they can't get any worse, so getting better wouldn't require so much effort...They can only stay the same or get better. But I still dream of the old EA coming back.
Comparing only graphics, PC will always be better than any console, but at a higher price. I'm a PC gamer, but have to say that the vs. articles are getting boring. We know the truth, don't need lots of people to keep saying the same stuff.

That's exactly what they say about PS Vita, that it's dead because of lack of games. Do you think PS Vita is dead? And I'm not a fanboy. I have a Vita. I like it, and agree that it doesn't have much support.
PS: just wait for Zelda and a new super mario 3D game (In case you don't know what it means, Galaxy' Style game).
This will never enter their heads :/ Since the beginning Nintendo wasn't much of a third party admirer neither dependent. For example, I buy Nintendo consoles for their games mainly, and have a PC for the rest.

Graphics fanatics aren't only on PC, believe me. They are everywhere.
I'm a PC gamer and my favourite games are back at N64/PS2, you can't say that every PC gamer is a graphics fanatic. These people are everywhere.
The price looks fine IMO. It's the most powerful one to date, Nvidia can price it balls and no one can complain...Wait for competition to get there (what will take some time actually) and the price will drop beautifully ;)
I just don't agree with the Nintendo Titles. Mario Kart - One per console, and now in handhelds, what is wrong with that? Mario Kart is still very fun to play even alone, whats wrong with a not-every-year game that is actually fun? And New Super Mario Bros. - I play and love Super Mario Bros. since the first one, never got tired because they are simply awesome. And the same thing as Mario Kart - fun is the goal, and they reach it easily...
But LEGO and AC games, I have to totally ...
And premium feature is simply awesome.
PS4 will never be the best thing ever for games if you want graphics and stuff, because that's the PC. Consoles's fight should be just for casual fun, and that's why Wii U wins. PS4 is trying to fight PC but fails miserably, who don't notice it is just another fanboy who can't see the truth. Gamers getting so ridiculous nowadays.
