what do you think of what has been shown of FFXV? I think it's going in the right direction. Although I'm not a fan of the main characters because they look like a boy band or Japanese pop singer idols.
this Jim Sterling guy really annoys the hell out of me. He always take thing to the extreme to prove his own biased point.
Before he even published his FFXIII review he was already trashing the game and even admitted that he didn't even play half of it. That's what people were complaining about.
And I'm not defending FFXIII in any way, I freaking hate that game and all its sequels but what Jim Sterling did was very unprofessional. And here we are ...
people always hating on franchises they don't even care about. It's crazy. So many games out there you know... If you don't like new there's always retro games too.
Call of Duty will be fine. Although I must admit, I don't even care about this series. The only one I played was Call of Duty 2 on X360 and then Modern Warfare on PS3. That's it.
not as good looking as originally presented but the fluidity, crowds, lighting, etc. are still pretty amazing. The world really feels like it's alive.
The pop-ins are annoying though because it is so persistent.

very good interview there the one of David Pakman to Total Biscuit. I agree with him on almost every point except for the removal of scores. But we are starting to see a new side here about why game journalists behave the way they do and that's because of game publishers.
I liked how he connected the dots between the review that might have social criticism in it with metacritic and the bonus from publishers. Everything so concise and straight to the point even an outsider...
