The most important thing of the E3 is not the presentation of the show, but the games are. And Sony nailed it by showing GAMEPLAY of the exclusive games, and not like Microsoft.
4/5 of theyr show was showing third party games that are also on PS4.

And also important Hideo Kojima did not have to make a gameengine for Dead Stranding, he has an engine, the Decima engine from Guerrilla, so that stole alot of time and effort to make an own engine for Dead Stranding.
By the way the decima engine is named after a little island for the cost of Japan.

No, the E3 is not about presentation when you think that you are delusional.
The E3 was always about the games, always about gameplay, never about the presentation
This, when some people say Microsoft "won" because of the better format i give them that.
But they forget that not the format, but the GAMES are 100% more important than the format.
The format from Sony was not good, but they killed it by showing gameplay of games. So Sony "won" this E3.
And yet they are saying, "when you want singleplayergames you can play Forza solo...thats is a contradiction, but then again, that is Microsoft.

As an PSgamer i disagree with you.
Yes they where cocky round the launch of the PS3. They thought the PS2 was a succes so the PS3 will also be a succes, even when it was expensive at launch.
So that backfired in the first years of the PS3, but first eating the humble pie and than the dedication of delevering AAA exclusive games only playable on Playstation saved theyr ass.
Are they cocky now? Why because they dont want crosplay with the xbox and ...
