Ratchet and Clank, and Resistance. in my opinion, those games have the most memorable weapons of all time in them.
I remember fully upgrading my Rhino in Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal. Or the LAARK in Resistance: Fall of Man. >.>

Since when were map packs with one map 10 bucks each? I recall MGO expansions to be 20 bucks for 10 maps, 2 new (Game-changing) playable characters [Ryden and Vamp], and a bunch of game modes to boot. Correct me if i'm wrong - i didn't buy the expansion.

For my most anticipated game this year, it doesn't seem to be taking that long to be released. Maybe because i didn't know the general release date till about 2 weeks ago... (I though it still had a good year to go) but its still definitely not taking them a long time.

the snow doesn't look THAT good. When Drake was climbing and shimmying across that rock, there was no hand prints left in the snow.
I mean, obviously it looks better than ANY other game's snow - and is still a very early, incomplete build - but i think they should have waited till they had the snow effects as perfect as they could get them before showing footage.

Still. Alan Wake looks kickass, and is the one game that i will never agree "looks bad". Honestly, the 360 hasn't had a single story-driven game since launch... Literally, there is NOTHING like Heavy Rain, MGS4, Ratchet and Clank Future, etc. Nothing. ...Until now, with Alan Wake.

As for playing it on a mac; The game looked perfectly fine on my iMac. I dont see how saying i have a Mac makes it run and worse than a PC. As far as you know, i could have a 6,000 dollar Mac Pro....

Sony seems to let developers do what they want with whatever they want. Quite frankly, yes; there are games like Socom that dont turn out so well - but then theres games like Flower which, quite frankly, wouldn't exist is sony was any other way.
Im just saying... I kind of like that they give developers freedom to do what they want. Even if what it is that the developer is doing is killing Socom... T...
