Oh I'm sure there's a cost added the the manufacturing of surround sound receiver and soundbars with atmos. That's cool - it's their tech aha. If they charged, say, Sony to use Atmos in Sony headphones and that caused Sony headphones to be $30 more I'm cool with that.
Making the customer pay a monthly fee to use something that their hardware already supports is super lame though
Only for headphones. If you have a surround sound receiver that supports it then it's free on both Windows and Xbox.
But yeah it's absolutely ridiculous lol
^This is how i feel about turn-based games, souls-like games, survival games and Bethesda open world 100+ hour games. Doesn't mean they're bad, just that they aren't for me.
That's the thing about opinions my dude
@LucasRuinedChildhood
Eh I just mean the humour. That E10+ rating has my hopes up lol. As far as the reboot goes: I still platinumed it but it had a lot of awfulness lol. I could go on about it for hours about how they ruined the character arc and the friendship and made all the characters one-dimensional and the awful ending re-write but lets skip that lol. They shoulda made a new game+movie with a new story instead of butchering a major series' origin story imo
I'm sort of expecting the new Ratchet game to take a more "original trilogy/deadlocked" tone rather than a "2016 reboot" tone. I really hope so.
Then we'll pretty much have what you're asking for :p
@ocelot:
Nah the ps5 version came out at launch. It's 4k/60 or 1440/120. The 120fps is super nice aha
I actually constantly have to debate whether to play Fort on PC for the RTX features, PS5 for the fact that I'm not matched with keyboard and mouse players, or Switch where gyro aiming is enabled and tbh a lot of the time I pick Switch aha. Gyro aiming is just sooooo good and I have no idea why you can't do it on PlayStation but you can on Switch with a pro controller in the same lobbies as PlayStation players
Not sure why switch is the only bloody console this gen ...
Never played the first one, but I started the second game on a whim a couple days ago and it's bloody amazing.
Very Last Of Us-ey with the giant open levels and scavenging optional buildings for supplies and ammo
oh in Redux? Yeah dude i cant aim at all in it LOL id imagine it would be much better with a mouse. I do have it on PC too but... idk i like playing with a controller. ...guess i could use the steam controller......
Using gyro as a mouse cursor in the console versions would have been a sweet inclusion tbh. Wish more games would utilize gyro as an optional way to aim both in FPS games and in tycoon games, the sims, etc. Its one of the main reasons i love PC and Switch lol
...
I bought this literally just to support RWS and hopefully get Postal 2 or Postal 4 on PlayStation ❤
I guess Unreal Engine 2 probably isn't super optimized for newer consoles lol but one can dream
Aha it'll be 95% PC people but it'll definitely be good for Stadia players if it's cross play
Not to be negative but Stadia hasn't exactly been doing great when it comes to crossplay support or player counts so I have my doubts.
I feel bad for everybody that bought the thing. My dad still uses it and I'm in his family library so we play sometimes, and the hock shop by my house has a couple stadia bundles in stock so clearly some people...
Yeah I love PS+ lmao. I'm just saying it factually isn't free, the cost does add up, and PS+'s existence shouldn't mean that actually owning games becomes abnormal.
I buy lots of games that I already have on Plus just so I'll always have them
@Jls:
Why does the price of the game matter? or the number of months in a year? Lol
I see what you're trying to do but it doesn't make sense. The actual cost is the cost of Plus, multiplied by the number of years you're alive.
So let's say 60 more years before your mortality takes a turn for the worse. You're looking at about $4,800 to keep Tomb Raider in your library vs owning a physical copy.
Not to mention that these are rem...
I remember when DVDs came out and people said they could barely see the difference from VHS. I also remember when bluray came out and people said they could barely see the difference from DVD. I remember when 4k blurays came out and etc etc
Those people were super weird to me lol and I got the same feeling reading your comment. I literally don't know how you can't tell the difference between checkerboard 4k and native.
Anyway - you're wrong bu...
I love it tbh. The only thing I don't like it for is guns but that's a personal opinion. Messes with my head a bit having different pressure points for different weapons and then having the trigger bounce while the gun fires. It's incredibly cool but yeah I turn it off for guns.
Racing games, "grabbing" things like in sackboy adventure, and anything simulating weight is suuuuuper cool. I just bought NFS for ps4 and im playing it and it feels weird to *...
@Deep_Space_One
Eh it's not just PlayStation it's everything in the entire world.
Negativity gets more clicks, unfortunately.
You think? Idk man I've seen the vast majority of comments and YouTube vids and live streams ripping the game for being a brainless and incredibly simple looter shooter
I'm gonna give it a try. Just waiting for my buddy to have a day off so we can play lol.
It definitely doesn't look great though
Welp guess im losing contact with all my Anplitude ps4 friends. Not sure how were gonna plan multiplayer sessions anymore.
This is trash
@Gameseeker:
My dude I assure you I'm not a fanboy. I mostly play on PC. I just use the PS for exclusives.
And anyway, you're wrong - It isn't advertised bloody anywhere. I literally can't find it on the PS5 store or home screen. I don't recall ever seeing it on the webstore either. I think there's a section for it in the Video section on ps4 but (I might be wrong about this and I have no intention of setting up the ps4 to check) I don't...
This is actually the move that caused me to sell off all my switch games and stop collecting for it lol
LimitedRunGames and SuperRare, sure, but this was absolute bs and really turned me off from collecting for the switch or supporting Nintendo anymore.
